Homebound, At Last.

Ladies, gents, and the rhythm between the lines,
The wait is over! Every fiber of my being is overwhelmed with relief and gratitude as I bring you the news:

🎸 Afterlove EP is out now! 🎸

I can’t find the words to fully express what this moment means. Seeing the overwhelming support for our game has been nothing sort of incredible. Every message, kind word, and moment you spend with Afterlove EP means the world and more.

This project was always more than just a game. It began as the story aching in Fahmi’s chest, one he longed to share with the world. Then, it became our way, Pikselnesia’s way, of saying goodbye - to his presence, his guidance, his boundless passion. And now, it’s yours. Please, take this journey. Let the music, the love, and the memories carry you through the world he imagined.

Many of us on the team, including myself, worked on What Comes After with Fahmi before we embarked on this project. Even then, he was already shaping the early whispers of what was, at that time, called Project Heartbreak. Fahmi wasn’t just a writer - he was a storyteller first and foremost. He always led with feeling. And this time, he wanted to capture the raw aching of trying to move on from love while its voice still lingers in your mind.

With his passing, that feeling became something more to us. Something raw, and real. I knew, deep in my bones, that my role now was to wrestle that same grief, fresh and unrelenting in my mind, and trap it within the frame of Afterlove EP. To make sure his vision wasn’t just heard, but felt.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for staying with us until the end. Because of you, we weren’t so alone in this grueling path. Now, I can’t wait for you to step into Rama’s worn canvas shoes, to walk Jakarta’s streets, to hear its music, to feel its love. When you do, let me know what you think - I’d love to hear it.

This is my last personal post, so I suppose this is a farewell - but I hope we meet again, in another story, in another rhythm.

Until then,

Sasha Ariana
