Hello everyone!

As you would be aware, with the sudden tragic passing of our beloved Fahmi, it has been a difficult time for the team and everyone involved with Afterlove EP.

We appreciate your love and support, it has been truly overwhelming.

Although Afterlove EP was originally slated for release in Summer 2022, this has now been delayed.

Whilst we're not quite ready to show anything at this time, we're here today at LudoNarraCon to provide an update on the game.

Announcing Afterlove EP

We here at Fellow Traveller are excited to reveal that we’re working with Mohammad Fahmi (Coffee Talk) and Pikselnesia on Afterlove EP, the game previously known as “Project Heartbreak”!

Unique elements of narrative adventure, rhythm game, and dating sim blend together in this poignant ‘slice-of-life’ story about love, loss, and music. Afterlove EP is coming in 2022, and is available to wishlist now.

What does love truly mean?

Set in Indonesia, a young musician named Rama suddenly finds himself alone in the bustling metropolitan city of Jakarta after his girlfriend, Cinta, unexpectedly passes away. Cinta’s voice lives on, narrating Rama’s every moment. He must overcome his grief and learn that moving on isn’t about forgetting the past, but cherishing it.

Experience the culture of Jakarta, Indonesia’s capital

Inspired from an indie-manga art style, watch the city come to life through everyday conversations and interactions with Rama’s friends and neighbors. The game features landmarks and settings inspired by real world Jakarta locations.

AfterLove EP’s soundtrack also bolster’s the game’s authentic representation of Indonesian culture, composed by Jakarta indie band, L'alphalpha. The soundtrack will feature brand new tracks from the band inspired by AfterLove EP’s story and written and performed in Indonesian (with English translations included in-game).

An extraordinary, ordinary life

During the game, players will live within the culture of Jakarta and help Rama create music, socialise with friends, make life choices, and maybe even learn to love again.

Rama’s interactions with friends and neighbors are split between day and night for short but meaningful bursts of gameplay. Containing an unconventional blend of elements drawn from adventure games, dating simulators and rhythm games, AfterLove EP will have players navigating Rama through new potential relationships, jam sessions with his band, and working on an EP of songs that he promised Cinta before she passed away.
