PROPHUNT - Early Access v0.6.0.1

[p]Hi everyone! We just released a minor update to address some collision bugs and make a few quality-of-life adjustments. Here is the changelog:[/p]
  • [p]Added Server Browser hints to help find players or start solo games.[/p]
  • [p]Added very limited Controller Support (Alpha version).[/p]
  • [p]Time to Hide is now set to 30 seconds by default.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed alive AI Props persisting between games.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed capsule collision that blocked Hunters after a Prop transformed.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Prop mesh collision blocking bullets even when invisible.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Claymores not being removed between rounds.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a movement bug when jumping and shooting immediately after running.[/p]
  • [p]Minor optimizations and improvements.[/p]

[p]Hello Hunters and Props![/p][p][/p][p]The v0.6 Update is finally here! We are thrilled to finally unveil a whole new era for PROPHUNT.[/p][p][/p][p]We want to be clear: Everything has been rebuilt. From the gameplay and UI to optimization and graphics. We have started fresh on a solid foundation to make PROPHUNT the great game it deserves to be. This is not just a patch; it is a rebirth.[/p][p][/p][p]Here is what you can expect in this massive update:[/p][p][/p][h3]COMPLETE COMBAT & MOVEMENT OVERHAUL[/h3][p]The way the game feels has been completely transformed. Both Hunters and Props have had their movement, animations, and weapons reworked from scratch.[/p]
  • [p]Hunter Evolution: Now featuring a First-Person View! We’ve added a brand new arsenal including an Assault Rifle (AK-type), Shotgun, Semi-auto Handgun, Frag Grenades, Claymores, and Melee combat.[/p]
  • [p]Prop Evolution: Props can now transform and de-transform (return to robot form) at will. In robotic form, you can now attack in close combat—perfect for finishing off a low-health Hunter.[/p]
  • [p]Stealth Mechanics: Added a "Walk" feature for both teams to move slowly but silently.[/p]
  • [p]Stamina System: Running and jumping now consume stamina for Props. This balances the gameplay, no more running indefinitely![/p]
[p][/p][h3]SINGLEPLAYER & AI PROPS[/h3][p]One of the pillars of this new era![/p]
  • [p]AI Bots: The host can now fill empty player slots with AI Props.[/p]
  • [p]Solo Mode: Thanks to the AI, you can now practice or play alone (Hunter AI is coming in a future update).[/p]
[p][/p][h3]TECH, VISUALS & OPTIMIZATION[/h3][p]We have modernized the entire technical backbone of the game.[/p]
  • [p]Crossplay: PC Players on Steam and Epic can now play together![/p]
  • [p]Party Code System: Each game generates a unique code. Share it to join friends instantly without needing Steam/Epic contact lists, essential for Crossplay.[/p]
  • [p]NVIDIA Integration: We’ve introduced DLSS, DLAA, and Multi-Frame Generation for buttery smooth performance.[/p]
  • [p]New Visuals: We said goodbye to the old robot soldiers. The Kovatek Corporation now employs human agents: meet "Kova".[/p]
  • [p]UI Overhaul: It was high time to end the austere menus of the past. Enjoy a beautiful, modern new interface.[/p]

  • [p]NEW MAP - Rooftop: Battle on the rooftops of an abandoned New York City. This is the first map to introduce the void concept—watch your step, or you will fall to your death![/p]

Get Ready! The v0.6 PROPHUNT Update is Coming This November!

[p]First, we want to thank you all for your incredible patience. We were pushing hard to get this update out for the game's anniversary, but unfortunately, our day jobs (yes, it's sad 😢) got in the way and we couldn't make that deadline.[/p][p]But the wait is almost over! We are incredibly excited to announce that we are officially targeting a November release for the massive v0.6 PROPHUNT update.[/p][p]We're calling this a "whole new era" for the game, and for good reason. We've been reworking the game's core, and we can't wait for you to play it. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p][/p][h3]A Complete Overhaul of Movement and Combat[/h3][p]We've completely reworked the systems for both the Hunter and the Prop from the ground up, including movement, animations, and weapons.[/p]
  • [p]For the Hunter: Get ready for a new first-person view! This comes with an all-new tactical arsenal: an AK-47-type weapon, a shotgun, a semi-automatic handgun, a frag grenade, and a claymore. Melee combat is also in![/p]
  • [p]For the Prop: You can now transform and detransform (return to your robot form) at will! In your robotic form, you can attack in close combat, which can be very effective against a low-health Hunter.[/p]
  • [p]For Everyone: We've added a "walk" function for both sides, allowing you to move more slowly but completely silently.[/p]
[p][/p][h3]New Visuals & Hunter Customization[/h3]
  • [p]New Hunter Agents: Once a valiant robot soldier, Kovatek Corporation now employs new human agents for its Hunters.[/p]
  • [p]Skill System: Going hand-in-hand with the new visuals is the introduction of Skills. You can select these to customize your Hunter's play style.[/p]
  • [p]First Skill Available: “Resilience,” which allows you to take less damage for a short period of time. (Other skills will be coming soon, allowing you to create customizable classes!)[/p]
[p][/p][h3]AI Props & Singleplayer Mode[/h3][p]This is one of the pillars of this new update. The host of a game can now fill in the empty Props player slots with AIs. This is perfect for filling up a lobby or even playing solo as a Hunter. (Hunter AIs will be available later.)[/p][p][/p][h3]New Map "Rooftop" & "Warehouse" Rework[/h3]
  • [p]New Map: Rooftop: A brand new map set on the rooftops of an abandoned American city. It is also the first map to introduce the concept of the void, where both Props and Hunters can fall to their deaths.[/p]
  • [p]Map Rework: Warehouse: The game’s very first map, Warehouse, has also been significantly modified and improved, notably with the addition of new props and vegetation.[/p]

PROPHUNT - Patch Notes: Early Access v0.5.1

Hi everyone, we're back with PROPHUNT update v0.5.1! From now on, updates will be lighter in content but more regular. We expect at least 1 update per month. Here's an overview of what's changed!

  • A roadmap is available online to give an overview of the additions we want to make to PROPHUNT
  • Message in chat when someone joins and leaves the game
  • Bug report button
  • Add a “HOST” label to indicate the game's host player
  • Firearm damage indicator
  • Added ability to see allies through walls

  • Balancing weapon values (damage, rate of fire, etc.)
  • Improvements and modifications to numerous interfaces
