Frostpunk 2 Beta available during April 15-22

Frostpunk 2 Beta will be available during April 15-22. Starting at 7PM CEST | 1PM EDT | 10AM PDT.

Return to the unforgiving Frostlands and experience a glimpse of our ambitious sequel in which, among the need to survive, you'll face a new and deadly threat: human nature and its insatiable thirst for power. The Beta features a part of the sandbox mode called the Utopia Builder Preview.

You can play the Beta in English and Simplified Chinese only. All the other languages listed on the store page will be available upon the game's full release.

Frostpunk 2 lands on Steam and PC Game Pass in July, Deluxe Edition pre-orders grant access to seven-day beta in April

11 bit studios has announced a release date for Frostpunk 2, its sequel to the original society survival game.

Coming to PC on July 25 and day one on PC Game Pass, the game is now available for pre-order, and also announced today was the Digital Deluxe Edition that comes with access to the seven-day beta in April.

Announced in 2021, Frostpunk 2’s story is set in New London and takes place 30 years after the Great Storm of the original game and the consequences stemming from the arrival of the oil industry.

Frostpunk 2’s release date brings a frosty survivalist chill to this summer

It’s been coming up on three years since Frostpunk 2 was revealed as a full-blown sequel to the frosty survival city-management game, which itself turns six years old (!!) next month. After we finally got a proper look at 11 bit Studios' beautifully brutal follow-up last year, we now know when we’ll be able to brave the unforgiving tundra and the nightmarish climate of, uh, July?
