Tunguska: The Visitation - Final Cut News

Update 1.86-2 Patch Notes

- You can now repeat "Shift + Right click " (or on the controller, RT + X) to continue taking items from the stack it was split from.

- Fixed a bug where Venkat will sell you furniture before you have obtained the house

- Now you can navigate the entire main menu with just the Dpad of the controller - no longer need to use the left stick to move the cursor.

- Fixed a bug where a human NPC hugging a wall might see through it

- Fixed a bug with F1 grenade sometimes falling through the ground

- Added "Danger Mines" signs in various places where players might expect landmines

A Quick Bug Fix

This is a small bug fix from the patch last night. There was a piece of code I accidentally commented out, causing traders to stop selling weapon attachments.

Update 1.86-1 Patch Notes

- Now you can hold G to quick-throw a throwing knife without having to switch to it back and forth

- Added a scroll bar for the task list next to the journal

- If Artyom dies, his food quest will be cancelled

- Added a task item to remind player to help Hans with this science research project

- Added a option under Fog-of-War Rendering (or "line of sight rendering") that allows player to reveal all NPCs. This option basically removes any survival element during combat, so please don't use it unless you really want the game to be super easy. Basically a wall-hack.

Update 1.86 Patch Notes

- Fixed a bug with starting NG+ not transfering items to Sidor's locker. (requires restarting the NG+ by leaving Tunguska again)

- Added some finesse to gamepad and mouse auto-aim. If there are two enemies on top of each other (one on second floor), you can push the gamepad right stick all the way up to prioritize aiming at the higher elevation enemy. You can do the same by moving the mouse up and down while auto-aiming to "toggle" between the two.

- Option "Gamepad combat camera rotation" now applies to both melee and firearm aiming

- Fixed a bug with Sanatorium level quest where your personal state isn't properly reset when you wake up

- When using a sniper/scoped rifle with gamepad/auto-aim controls, if you are not locked onto any enemies, the scope will not show up. This is to reduce motion sickness when the scope "hops" around.

I would like to thank everyone for your patience. A game like Tunguska is literally uncharted territory in the gaming industry - there are so many ways combat and exploration can feel awkward with the 3D, top-down, real time combat against gun-wielding enemies. I don't know if I can ever make it perfect for everyone, I'm just trying the best I can :) Really wish there was another game just like this that got everything right so that I can learn from it, but I don't think such game exists...

Update 1.85-9 Patch Notes (Boris Quest Bug FIx)

I apologize for creating a new bug a day ago, which causes the Boris quest to be stuck when you get his note. This patch will fix this issue. All you need to do is to go to anywhere in Ashinaka and bring the note with you. Right-click to read the note and then close the inventory. In a few seconds you'll see the journal being updated.

Thank you for your patience!

Also, a couple of other fixes included:

- Moved the Editor Office scene to its own scene without all the other unrelated assets. This is an attempt to speed up the loading time when you start a new game.

- The Oblenska munitions bunker door will be unlocked when you give the key to Vladmir, just in case you forget to check it out before losing the key.
