Now this isn't easy if you've been building 5 star luxury as standard as Sporty's only require 2 stars, but that's why we thought it would be cool to mix things up a bit! [p]Hey Hoteliers, [/p][p]This week we're doing a little tool highlight as we know the community asked for this one for a long time! If you've ever found yourself painstakingly recreating identical rooms in Hotel Architect, the latest update arrived recently and with that, the copy and paste tool to save your time and sanity! [/p][p]While the copy and paste tool is rather cool, we know some newer players might not be aware of it as there's a lot to take in when learning how to play initially. We apologise if you already know how to use it, although if you are an avid user, you may want to keep reading as we made some small but helpful additions in the latest patch thanks to player feedback![/p][p] [/p][h2]Where to Find the Copy & Paste Tool[/h2][p]The new tool is located in the room panel on the right hand side of the screen when you select any zone in your hotel. Look for the duplicate icon - this is your gateway to faster hotel creation inbetween the furniture and delete icon. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]How It Works[/h2][p]Using the tool is intuitive but here's the step-by-step on how to use:[/p]

1. [p]Select a Zone: Click on any completed room or zone you want to replicate.[/p]
2. [p]Copy: Hit the Copy icon in the room panel[/p]
3. [p]Move to the empty space you want to place it in: Navigate to an empty part of your hotel layout, you can rotate the room to your liking.[/p]
4. [p]Paste: Click to place/paste. The room will appear as just blueprints at first, and then once the builders have created the walls and floors, they'll bring all the room furnishings in too.[/p]

[p][/p][p][/p][h2]Recent additions[/h2][h3]
No More Accidental Debt[/h3][p]Thanks to the latest patch, you now can’t go into debt further than your credit when using the Copy and Paste tool which was quite easy to do before and something that we could see players getting easily carried away with! The system now checks your available funds before allowing a paste, ensuring you stay financially responsible while expanding your hotel empire.[/p][p][/p][h3]Cost will now be shown when pasting![/h3][p]We've added a price calculation when using the tool so you know how much you're spending when copying and pasting to help manage your budget.[/p][p][/p][h3]Mirroring[/h3][p]The Copy and Paste tool now includes a mirror feature, so for all those decorators that love symmetry, this is for you! The mirroring feature will flip your rooms horizontally so you can make better use of your space and have some funky designs too.

The keybinds for this are the N and M buttons on your keyboard.[/p][p]

[p]Welcome back, hoteliers! It's been a week since the New York Update launched, we hope you've all been enjoying it, we've seen some fantastic skyscrapers so far! This update brings a bit more polish to some of the new things introduced and squashes a few small bugs as well.[/p][p]

• [p]Style Swapping for Placed Items
  You can now change the look of items after they’ve been placed! Available colours depend on each item, so go ahead, give that chair a makeover without having to call the construction workers in![/p]
• [p]Room Cost Reservation
  Planning a room copy? The total cost is now reserved upfront on placement. If you don’t have the funds, you won’t be able to place it so budget accordingly![/p]
• [p]Room Mirroring
  Flip it to fit it! You can now mirror copied rooms along the X and Y axes. Default hotkeys: N (X-axis) and M (Y-axis).[/p]
• [p]Smart Temperature Overlay
  Placing temperature-adjusting items? The temperature overlay will automatically appear, helping you visualize your climate control in real-time.[/p][p][/p]

• [p]Instant Clean-up Bug Squashed
  Laundry and dirty dishes will no longer magically clean themselves the moment appliances kick in.[/p]
• [p]Guest Privacy Patch
  Addressed an issue where guest privacy mode wasn’t behaving correctly. Your guests can rest easy now.[/p]

• [p]Roof Spawning Fix
  Laundry and litter should no longer mysteriously appear on the roof! Sorry, the party is over! 🤣[/p][p][/p]
