[/p][h3]Now onto our next challenge...[/h3][p]This weeks theme is: The Dirty Nightmare 😱[/p][p]For this challenge, the Hotel Architect team have been brainstorming and requested something a bit different. We've seen lots of clean hotels, so what about the dirtiest run down hotel? Remember it must be functioning, but let your chaotic streak go a bit wild!

We know we've been quiet with updates and fixes in game recently, but rest assured the team are busy working away on the game and also the next location which we will have more news on soon. For now though we thought we'd supply you with a bit of inspiration for some different builds, so we're going to show you what the team have been building in game!
[/p][h3]Jono’s Min/Max Mega Prison Hotel[/h3][p]Efficiency meets... incarceration? Jono went full optimization mode this week with a brutalist mega prison hotel that’s all about maximum profit and minimum comfort.
Think concrete walls, very basic showers, and a restaurant that feels more like a cantine. Guests may not leave glowing reviews, but they do leave on time and it makes money! 😅

With a centrepiece bar, beautiful room suites, and a games centre plus tanning area for sunbathers, what more could you want on a trip to New York when you aren't out exploring the city?
[/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][h3]Tegan’s Pastel Santorini Resort[/h3][p]Tegan brought the sunshine with a pastel-toned Santorini-inspired resort that’s all about relaxation and picturesque views! Soft colours in every beach hut overlooking the sea, this is the kind of place where guests come for the sunsets and stay for the spa treatments. Pure bliss!

What started as a standard hotel stay for some quickly spiralled into a nightmare tower that defies all critics, amenities and basic hygiene standards. It’s a disaster.. but it’s his disaster. [p]Hey Hoteliers, [/p][p]This week we're doing a little tool highlight as we know the community asked for this one for a long time! If you've ever found yourself painstakingly recreating identical rooms in Hotel Architect, the latest update arrived recently and with that, the copy and paste tool to save your time and sanity! [/p][p]While the copy and paste tool is rather cool, we know some newer players might not be aware of it as there's a lot to take in when learning how to play initially. We apologise if you already know how to use it, although if you are an avid user, you may want to keep reading as we made some small but helpful additions in the latest patch thanks to player feedback![/p][p] [/p][h2]Where to Find the Copy & Paste Tool[/h2][p]The new tool is located in the room panel on the right hand side of the screen when you select any zone in your hotel. Look for the duplicate icon - this is your gateway to faster hotel creation inbetween the furniture and delete icon. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]How It Works[/h2][p]Using the tool is intuitive but here's the step-by-step on how to use:[/p]

1. [p]Select a Zone: Click on any completed room or zone you want to replicate.[/p]
2. [p]Copy: Hit the Copy icon in the room panel[/p]
3. [p]Move to the empty space you want to place it in: Navigate to an empty part of your hotel layout, you can rotate the room to your liking.[/p]
4. [p]Paste: Click to place/paste. The room will appear as just blueprints at first, and then once the builders have created the walls and floors, they'll bring all the room furnishings in too.[/p]

[p][/p][p][/p][h2]Recent additions[/h2][h3]
No More Accidental Debt[/h3][p]Thanks to the latest patch, you now can’t go into debt further than your credit when using the Copy and Paste tool which was quite easy to do before and something that we could see players getting easily carried away with! The system now checks your available funds before allowing a paste, ensuring you stay financially responsible while expanding your hotel empire.[/p][p][/p][h3]Cost will now be shown when pasting![/h3][p]We've added a price calculation when using the tool so you know how much you're spending when copying and pasting to help manage your budget.[/p][p][/p][h3]Mirroring[/h3][p]The Copy and Paste tool now includes a mirror feature, so for all those decorators that love symmetry, this is for you! The mirroring feature will flip your rooms horizontally so you can make better use of your space and have some funky designs too.

The keybinds for this are the N and M buttons on your keyboard.[/p][p]
