[p]Hey Hoteliers, [/p][p]We know we've been quiet since the Halloween update but do not fret, we're working on the next update which we reckon should make you all very happy as its been shown off before! We know you're all waiting patiently, and we're very grateful for this.

For now though we thought we'd share some of our favourite recent builds we've seen uploaded on steam and in the community discord server, which you can join here by the way![/p][h2]
Community Builds[/h2][p] First up Sebduction's build with an open plan bar, casino and restaurant in one! A great use of space and a well laid out hotel! It ticks all our boxes.[/p][p]Second is Danielkenen1975's organised chaos of a casino - an eclectic mix of patterns but we feel right at home as alot of casinos have this vibe! If we were guests here, we'd spend so much money in the casino![/p][p][/p][p]Next we have Dgamo's purple luxury lobby! A touch of class, yet still practical and the use of the corner carpets makes for an interesting detail.[/p][p]HLS417AAA's ultra compact backpacker build with SO MANY rooms. Looks like somebody has taken a leaf out of producer Jono's book![/p][p]Troimi's eerily haunted gothic build! We love all the dark tones in this one, it would fit right in as a themed hotel in Vegas![/p][p]Thank you for all these epic builds, we love seeing what you all create and we'd love to see some more over the holiday season!

[/p][h2]Now onto some news! [/h2][p][/p][p]Some of you may have noticed on the Steam Page that we recently updated the roadmap. We did this to make it more digestible and clear as to what's coming and we are happy to say that we will be ticking some of these things off before the end of the year! So you know when we say 'soon', well soon has a deadline now for a few bits, but we cant tell you what they are just yet. 😏


We know you've all been waiting patiently for a new update, and it is coming, so hold onto your hotel building pants, because the next one is pretty darn cool, if we do say so ourselves.

If you want to use the Halloween add-on, you first need to turn it on in the main menu. We're left it this way so if you aren't a Halloween or gothic furniture fan, you can keep it turned off.

The add-on will also be available all year round so if you want Halloween in July, you can turn it on with a flick of a switch![/p][h3]

Core game updates also out today![/h3][p]Alongside the Halloween Add-on, we’ve rolled out a series of quality-of-life improvements and gameplay enhancements:[/p][p]🔧 Building & Item Improvements[/p]

• [p]Doors and windows can now be selected and moved just like regular items.[/p]
• [p]Blueprint mode now support selection of doors, and windows so you can move them around without deleting.[/p]
• [p]Added a copy button in the item info window (default hotkey: C) for faster duplication.[/p]
• [p]Added a towel holder with 4 item slots (intended to be used in public bathrooms)[/p]
• [p]Towel shelf can no longer be placed in bathroom zones (only in laundry rooms)[/p]
• [p]Added T-shaped and cross-shaped pieces to modular carpets.[/p]

[p]🧹 Smarter Staff & Guests[/p]

• [p]Cleaners now choose between a vacuum or mop based on the floor type.[/p]
• [p]Guests now pick restaurants based on menu preferences – so you can have multiple hotel restaurants to cater better for your guests.[/p]

[p]⚠️ UI & AI Enhancements[/p]

• [p]Fixed flickering elements in the Cashflow tab.[/p]
• [p]Added alerts below the top bar to notify you of major workflow issues – these stay visible until resolved.[/p]
• [p]Improved waste management AI and increased bin/dumpster capacity.[/p]
• [p]Upgrading bins/dumpsters no longer causes them to discard contents.[/p]
• [p]Upgrading beds no longer causes them to become unmade.[/p]

[p]🤔 Other Changes/Fixes[/p]

• [p]Replaced Las Vegas bonus objective "Rake head smack" with "Get 3 different casino games up and running"[/p]
• [p]Cash reserves from deleted casino zones are now automatically transferred to your bank.[/p]
• [p]Fixed issue that prevented some items from being cleaned.[/p]
• [p]Performance improvements in the temperature system.[/p]
• [p]Added specific "Stinky" icon in guest reviews! [/p]
