The best V Rising base locations

Want to know where the best V Rising base locations are? You could just build your maleficent manor in Farbane Woods and leave it at that, but since you're going to be spending a lot of time gathering materials in this vampire-themed crafting game - and there aren't many rare resources in the starting area - you'd be better off picking a better location to ensure you're not too far from your base when daylight interrupts your feasting and foraging.

The best V Rising base locations are near to valuable materials, so keep an eye out for bandit camps so you can command your V Rising servants to raid them for loot. Keep in mind that if you're playing on a V Rising server with other people, picking the best V Rising base locations is much trickier than in a private game. Everyone is trying to grab some sweet real estate, so constructing your castle requires a bit of extra thought.

To help you find the best V Rising base locations, we've found three areas where we recommend you move your castle. We also have some tips to ensure you secure the best plot of land if you're playing on a server with lots of other players.

The best V Rising weapons and how to get the unique reaper

Want to know what the best V Rising weapons are? There are seven different weapon types currently available in this vampire game, and while it's easy to say that the best ones are the ones with the largest stats, there's a little more to it. Every attack inflicts a proportion of your weapon's physical damage stat, we'll refer to this as 'physical damage' to avoid confusion. Therefore, the most crucial factor for any V Rising build is how much damage your weapon deals with per second.

To make the best V Rising weapons, you need to find materials from all around the game's map. Some advanced weapons require you to slay bosses to extract their V Blood, and perhaps even loot the desirable Orb of Knowledge from high-ranking enemies.

On top of all that, each weapon has two skills. The first one only appears after you equip copper tier weapons or higher, and the second while using iron tier weapons or above. Some skills are better for PvP combat, while others make short work of hordes of enemies in PvE. Depending on what V Rising servers you are playing on, you may have different priorities.

V Rising servers, server settings, and dedicated servers

Want to know more about V Rising servers? While the developers have finally enabled an early form of offline mode, the majority of the vampire games' vast playerbase are likely going to be playing on a server. There are many different ways to play the hit new survival game, so it's important to understand what your options are.

There are many different shapes and forms of V Rising servers - developer Stunlock Games has partnered with a third party company called GPORTAL to provide official servers, and you can also rent private servers through them as well. If you're setting up your own server, either for solo use or for you and your friends, there are over 60 different server settings you can tinker with, so it's handy to understand what they all do before you set your game up.

V Rising servers typically hold around 40 people, although we've seen some private servers hold more. The size of clans on these servers is typically capped at four, although this is also a setting you can change for private servers. There's plenty more to go over as well, so read on to find out everything you need to know about servers and multiplayer in V Rising.
