Matchmaking update

[p]Dear Players,

We will update some parts of the server software on 21st of November starting at 9:00 UTC. Update will be performed in “silent” mode without server downtime.[/p][p]What will come with this update:[/p]

[p]Fix to known cases where players were matched into mirror match when they deselected “Mirror match” option;[/p]
[p]Matchmaking analytics, which will allow us to gather various data about matchmaker operations. [/p]
[p]Tweak to some of the matchmaking options. This should help new players and players with high elo to find matches faster, but as a side-effect it may match teams with a bigger elo difference. We will monitor results and listen to the community feedback.[/p]

Easy Anti-Cheat installation issue workaround

[p]We're aware that since last week's patch there has been an issue affecting certain users who are currently unable to install Easy Anti-Cheat and thus are unable to launch the game. [/p][p][/p][p]We'd like to extend our apologies for that. Our team is working hard to find a permanent fix to this issue, but in the meantime please consider using either of the following workarounds.[/p][p][/p][p]1) If you are having trouble launching the game client due to an Easy Anti-Cheat error, please follow these steps:[/p]

[p]Open the game folder.[/p]
[p]In the File Explorer address bar, highlight the folder path and type cmd, then press Enter. This will open a console.[/p]
[p]In the console that opens, enter the following command and press Enter: EasyAntiCheat\\EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install 62a6c936372348c9af3904892db22702[/p]

2) Find the root game folder in ...\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\broken_arrow[/p][p]Open a command prompt from the folder by holding shift and right clicking in any empty spot on the folder, and then select Open in Terminal (Windows 11) or Open PowerShell window here.[/p][p]Run the command “EasyAntiCheat\\EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install 62a6c936372348c9af3904892db22702”[/p][p]You shouldn’t receive any text as output, but this might solve the issue.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you for your patience and understanding. Broken Arrow was set to be one of 2025's best strategy games, with its realistic and detailed approach to modern military combat. Touted as a spiritual successor to Command and Conquer, excitement was high, but two main issues have resulted in it falling below expectations: cheaters, and faction balance. In today's new Broken Arrow update, developer Steel Balalaika takes swings at both. However, it's also bringing a new Halloween-inspired mode to the game, and while that sounds like a travesty for a game so focused on realism, its zombie invasion actually looks awesome.
