Hotfix 0.20.10

- Fixed feeding piles not refilled anymore after job cancelation due to lack of meat (Problem applied to many buildings and caused lots of buildings not being refilled like potentially treatment chambers, research tables and possibly everything that produces and requires resources.)
- Cold weapons (Snow canons) now have correct ice pack consumption rates, before they consumed zero (Freezing zombies is not free anymore)
- Cold weapons tooltip shows correct fire rate (cooldown) with two decimals
- Added a safety check for potential stuck humbies

Known Problems: We still have some reports regarding stuck characters, wich is hard to reproduce for us, but we are trying to figure out how severe this problem prevails after this new patch.

Further fixes include
- Fixed treatment chamber triggern missing resources status correctly
- Fixed frozen zombies not hauled due to a multi threating problem
- Fixed frozen zombie storages not being refilled by haulers

Savegame Compatibility:
If you are continuing a save from a previous version that had refill bugs, you might have to disable buildings once and enable them again, afterwards the refill bug should never appear again.

Experimental Branch - Lab Status #1

You need to activate the beta branch "experimental" in order to participate.
Rightclick your Zombie Cure Lab > Properties > Betas > Select experimental branch > Game updates to new version.
THIS IS AN UNSTABLE VERSION FOR TESTING NEW FEATURES

[h2]New Features[/h2]
New things that we release here on the beta branch "experimental" to test things out early and gather your Feedback.
  • The lab status is now shown in the top left
    It summarized problems in your lab, how many buildings are deactivated/ broken, who is sleepy and can't find a bed, how many buildings lack resources etc.
    It is a fairly simple feature that was lacking for a long time and should help you understand better what is going on in your lab and make better decisions on what to improve next.
    You can click the icons on the top to cycle through the objects and workers causing the status.
  • Workers can now have a status that they can't satisfy their need, because no buildings exists or is in range.
  • Need satisfier objects like dining tables or beds now have a reservation status and show if a worker is on their way there.
    This helps to see at one glance if a bed room is at capacity and if you need to build more beds.
  • Need satisfier now show use duration like how long sleep worker in a bed for better comparsion
  • Need satisfier like the dining table now show how much need and mood they satisfy in their infobox and who is occupying space their and how far are they in their need satisfaction process.
  • Infobox: Towers now show how much damage they do, icepacks they consume etc.
  • Infobox: Workers now show what they are carrying
  • Infobox: Guards and Guard Lockers also show their damage
  • FIRST VERSION GAMEPAD CONTROLS: We are building a console version for Zombie Cure Lab and the game will now react to gamepad input, early controls to navigate the camera and select things are implemented, but you can't play the game with gamepad yet (We are working on lots of UI changes that will improve PC and a Console version)
    But we would be happy to already receive feedback about our first gamepad control steps.
  • Balancing: Humbie 2 now only eats from the dining table, this will allow you to build feeding bowls with grilled meat for Humbie 1 only and improve his diet if you want to.


This version will probably have more bugs in is more unstable, it probably works with 0.20.7 and 0.20.8 savegames, but maybe also causes unforseen problems. We encourage you to at least try it and see how your old save plays different with the new lab status feature.

0.20.8 Update

Its been a while, but we fixed some annoying problems!

  • Fixed calming station could not be properly build bug that lead to many other problems with stuck workers
  • Fixed very annoying blizzard contraption 2 sound loop bug, attack sound starts and ends correctly now
  • Fixed very annoying greenhouse air pull effect bug getting insanely huge over time
  • Fixed a bug where time progression was stuck when loading a save game
  • Humbie 2 yellow helmet goo not blinking anymore, improved wobble
  • Fixed freeze progress ui attack meter at nightly zombie attacks sometimes not showing
  • Fixed blueprint fences missing resource status not updated when building gate on them
  • Fixed that camera bounds could be offseted in one direction
  • Freeze trap now only triggers for hostile zombies
  • Frozen or currently treated humbies are not selected for another treatment anymore
  • When focusing an object or character, the camera doesn't teleport to that location anymore but moves smoothly there now


Known Problems:
- Frozen Zombie storage seems still go get stuck after a frozen Zombie is transported to treatment. Disabling and enabling can be used as a workaround for now. We will address this soon.
