64-bit Fix

This version is rebuilt for 64-bit as intended instead of 32-bit, which should reinstate mod support and prevent any other compatibility issues.

Everybody Talks Too Much

Inspired by recent changes in the school game, the multiple choice dialogue system gives you even more to talk about in wrestling! By gesturing towards somebody, you can now initiate a conversation where you press either side to change the subject. Just bear in mind that rejection is as dispiriting as you'd expect to prevent spamming.

The v1.6.1 update also features a handful of new hybrid moves - such as the "Powerbomb Powerslam" that enjoyed going viral when it showed up in AEW! LA Knight's "BFT" also appears here known as the "Nightmare". There's also a handful of new costume variations for wearing shirts differently. All this plus the usual intake of fixes and balancing:

Exposed Wood & Stretchers!

- New "Stretcher" alternative to the standard bed, which can be found in the hospital and sometimes appears at ringside instead of the ladder.
- Canvas options now include exposed wood or metal - which sounds different and scores bonus damage! These also now appear as gimmick matches in career mode.
- New shark mask and reverse headband.
- More feminine sitting poses.
- Reinstated the [Tab] key as a way of sleeping or changing characters on PC.
- Clicking a health meter to switch characters only works in matches.
- Undiscovered characters cannot be called out via the "Interference" option.
- Team names are shown in your calendar profile.
- Changing your face in-game results in temporary scarring to imply cosmetic surgery!
- Wearable objects are removed properly when handed over to somebody else.
- Refusing to buy or sell objects isn't always a negative interaction.
- Light from flickering flames is applied properly in all environments, and no longer lingers as a strong yellow colour.
- Weather & fire FX are affected by the volume setting.
- Reducing the sound volume no longer makes crowd sounds disproportionately quiet.
- Prevented an issue that may have caused managers to warp onto furniture upon making their entrance.
- Roaming into the press room now reveals a row of chairs at the back.
- Slight changes to the default rosters and title belts.

Welcome To The Workshop!

While we all wish it was easier to edit the assets in my new games, Steam Workshop is finally here to at least make it indirectly possible! You can now "subscribe" to a whole range of mods and have them automatically show up in your game by choosing the alternate "Play Modded" launch option:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/1620340/workshop/

Not only is this easier for users, but it's also fairer for the developer if all of this happens within Steam - where paying customers have earnt the right to customize a game they supported to this point. Once you get comfortable with it, you may even find yourself uploading your own mods! Look out for a couple of new PDFs explaining each side of the process. If enough people support the content, it could become a mutually beneficial way of breathing new life into the game for years to come. May I take this opportunity to publicly thank IngoH for his tireless efforts in taking us this far.

If you know this is never going to be your thing, you can revert back to always launching the vanilla version with a quick tick of that box. This is by no means my way of giving up on the project, as I have plenty of official developments in the pipeline as well.

Summer Fashions

This summer's v1.5.9 update introduces a handful of new costumes to help you recreate certain looks! I also took the opportunity to finally fix the glitchy "Transparent" hair. Other polishing includes a new stumbling alternative to flying off the edge of furniture, which keeps you on your feet more often. The way focusing works in roaming is also evolving, as you now automatically disengage from anybody you repeatedly walk away from. It's still possible to achieve this manually by holding the focus command, which frees up the left stick button for sleeping.

You can study all the other bug fixes too tiny to mention at the back of the manual:
