Early Access 1.54 - Preview - Fiat Lux!

[p]Operators,[/p][p][/p][p]Mark your calendar as the deployment of the next major update for Black One Blood Brothers will be done on June, 12, 2025, 9AM CEST (Paris hour)[/p][p][/p][p]This note will be short, but: [/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Some of you were unhappy that the largest maps were gone. While not bringing them back in the campaign to preserver the performances, you will be able to craft your own missions with a very large map. Don't forget to share your creations on Discord![/p]
  • [p]There will be light: dynamic lights will be reworked, introducing new gameplay opportunities[/p]
  • [p]Map improvements: 4 maps are being reworked for this update! Tell us which one you're expecting in the comments![/p]
  • [p]A new immersive option that you'll be able to enable or disable[/p]
  • [p]Other improvements and fixes[/p]

Update 1.53k: Improvements

- Improvement: “ARIAL Offshore Drilling” map now supports all weather conditions
- Improvement: Unique healing animation in first-person view
- Improvement: Smoothness of the transition when the player automatically leans
- Improvement: Adjustment of asset positions on the “ARIAL Offshore Drilling” map
- Improvement: Objective to disarm a nuclear bomb is now available on the “ARIAL Offshore Drilling” map
- Improvement: Menu pop-ups in the weapon editor now adapt to the mouse position for better clarity
- Improvement: Distance needed to trigger a climb or obstacle jump is based on the player’s current speed
- Improvement: Optimization of the shadow resolution for dynamic lights
- Fix: Scope’s reticle wasn’t properly centered on the screen
- Fix: Left-hand position wasn’t clearly visible when throwing a grenade while holding a firearm
- Fix: Arms of an unarmed operator moved with the camera’s movement
- Fix: Tree placement error on the “Al-Jan Province” map

Update 1.53j: Improvements and Hotfix

- Addition: Gameplay option to choose the starting thermal view on the tac-map
- Addition: New Default thermal view on insertion menu
- Improvement: The tactical map views are now positioned at the bottom of the screen
- Fix: Volume of bullet impact sounds on different materials
- Fix: The fog’s position didn’t adapt to the camera in the map editor
- Fix: Transparency error inside the “VK 12” firearm
- Fix: Left-hand positioning error on the “VK 12” firearm when no handguard is used
- Fix: Barbed wire positioned in mid-air on the training map
- Fix: Error loading a custom map during a custom campaign
- Fix: Some translation errors in French

Update 1.53i: Improvements and Hotfix

- Addition: New aiming reticles in smaller sizes
- Improvement: Adjustment of arm movement while aiming in first person
- Fix: Texture resolution error in the user-interface ranks and rewards, depending on the graphics settings
- Fix: Texture resolution error in the user-interface keyboard and mouse, depending on the graphics settings
- Fix: Alignment of the night-vision/thermal sight reticle with a magnifying optic
- Fix: Display error for procedural campaign rewards in the main menu

Update 1.53h: Hotfix

- Fix: Bandana had a texture error on one of the camouflages
- Fix: Binoculars didn’t deactivate when the player died or fell unconscious
- Fix: MV-443 pistol’s sights could display an unwanted black texture
- Fix: Error loading a custom map during a custom campaign (re-select the custom maps you want in the campaign editor to fix the issue)
