• Wings 'games by women-led studios' from March 1-10th!
• Dames 4 Games on March 6!

Finally, a big thanks to Sam Cable, our Co-Founder and Chief Cat Cuddler. Curious about what Sam gets up to every day? Check out this short video as Sam discusses her journey as Narrative Director on Copycat.

"My role as head of narrative and co-director means I try to champion the story through every stage of development. I help describe the world for the art director, plan out movement cues for the animator, and suggest vocal cues for the actors. One of my favourite parts of the creative process was seeing our dialogue come to life. We had a three-day studio record, where we were able to work directly with our actors to sculpt the emotions and intensity of the scene. We averaged about 200 lines a day between our lead actors. At the same time, focusing on intonation, clarity and vibrancy of the dialogue."

The demo of Copycat is finally out in the big wide world! And the demo is coming to Steam Next Fest!

In case you missed it: Copycat is a wholesome, narrative-driven game about rejection, belonging and the true meaning of home. It follows the story of a newly adopted shelter cat who becomes the victim of an elaborate plan when a jealous, stray copycat steals her place in the household.

The demo will take you around 45 minutes to complete. Purrfect for one sitting. Make sure you have a cup of tea close by and something small and fluffy to cuddle.



Here is some other good news. Did you know ‘Copycat’ is listed as the #5 game in the Trending Upcoming for the Steam Next Fest? 😻 It blew us away. Thanks everyone for your kindness and excitement.

Almost every day this year, we have worked on Copycat. At the time, it felt like we were only making small steps. But reflecting on a year's work, these steps have walked a marathon. Cheers 2023. Thanks for introducing us to some wonderful people in the Sydney and Melbourne gaming communities. We are very grateful. Here's what we have done in last 12 months:

A big thanks to Neverland Entertainment for taking Copycat to China's WePlay Expo 2023! So exciting so see cat lovers all over the world enjoying our little game.
