Keen to play Palworld on PS5? A Tokyo Game Show listing looks like it could be the latest hint at a port

A PS5 port of Palworld - that hit from earlier this year that got everyone realky into or really angry about the idsrea of Pokemon with guns for a hot minute - has been the subject of speculation for a good while now. The latyest potential hint that it could actually be coming? A listing for this year's Tokyo Game Show.

This certainly isn't the first time chatter about Palworld possibly rocking up on Sony's consoles has popped up, with what many interpreted as a Twitter tease of it from Palworld community manager Bucky back in June having prompted some hope, and Pocketpair itself not having ruled out maybe brining the game to more platforms.

The latest potential hint at Palworld hitting PlayStation is a listing on the Japanese Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA)'s record of games scheduled to show up at 2024's Tokyo Game Show, which is set to kick off on September 26.

1.Visit the Twitch Drops special page (https://twitch-drops.palworldgame.com/) *Only English is supported.

2. Log in to your Twitch account using the [Log In] button on the page.

3. Log in to your Steam account.

4. Log in and watch the campaign-eligible "Palworld" stream on Twitch for more than an hour during the campaign period.

5. Once you have met the requirements, press the [Claim Now] button on the Twitch Drops inventory page (https://www.twitch.tv/drops/inventory)

6. A skin will be added to your Steam account. You can change your skin from the in-game building "Pal Dressing Facility."

Black Myth: Wukong is currently Steam's most played game as it continues to break records

As I write this, Black Myth: Wukong, the action adventure from China’s Game Science studio, is the most played game on Steam by player count. There are currently 1,400,932 players in-game (with a peak of 1,443,570), surpassing the likes of Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, PUBG and all the usual games that occupy Steam’s top five.

Wukong’s launch was already predicted to be strong, with the game being Steam’s number one seller for several weeks, but the concurrent player figures are quite staggering for a single-player, offline game.
