If you’re looking for ways to spice up your Palworld experience and happen to be fond of a little Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, you should probably check out what one player has gotten up to with a Chillet they’ve managed to nab.
Yes, while a lot of us have been busy keeping an eye on the whole Palworld/Pokemon discourse - which has largely stemmed from the designs used for a few of the former’s models - and the effect it’s had on things like the game’s modding scene, people have been getting up to some pretty wacky hijinks in the game. Following the likes of Pal sphere launch trickshotting and mind control Pal catching, someone’s now managed to ollie their way into what seems to be the first Palworld skateboarding sesh.
The player in question, user Clyde-EarWater, has shared their X-Games worthy shredding over on the Palworld subreddit, simply captioning it “Chillet needed a skatepark” and letting their sick boarding do the rest of the talking. As you can see below, what they’ve done is nab themselves the long, chilly Pal and build a THPS-style series of jumps and obstacles to ride it over.
Palworld isn't just about capturing non-copyright-infringing Poke-fied wildlife, slaughtering the poor creatures and/or setting them to work in terrible gun factories. There's also the frightful question of Pal breeding. Every Pal in the game can be bred with every other Pal to produce a Pal subspecies with a chance of inheriting traits from its parents.
If you were wondering whether it's possible to play Palworld with just your mind, one streamer has proven that yes, you can!
You might have heard about Perrikaryal before, a Twitch streamer who's played games using some mind control tech previously, covering titles like Elden Ring and Skyrim VR. Well, Perrikaryal is back with another game played via mind control, the Steam mega-hit that is Palworld. You can check out the clip of Perrikaryal playing through the early portion of the game using her mind below, managing to pull off tasks like picking up rocks, punching rocks, and even catching a Pal.
It's a bit of a wild thing to watch, and she notes how she's been able to pull off four commands working at the same time, something she's not been able to do before. If you're wondering just how she pulls this off, there's a headset attached to her head with different receptors on different points. These then recognise different bits of brain activity, she's even got a 3D model of what her brain looks like, as well as the different parts of her brain she's using. In a video from a few months back detailing how it all works, she explains that she essentially imagines different actions, like pushing and pulling something, to correspond to certain button inputs.
