Launch Week Round-up and Update v0.1.13!
It’s now been just over a week since Pekoe’s Early Access Launch! Seeing all of your reactions, feedback, and even bug reports has been so incredible. In large part thanks to all of your support, this is now our seventh patch update since we first launched!
With most of the major bugs and progress blockers (hopefully!) taken care of, we’ll be gradually switching over to larger, less frequent updates. These will include more gameplay changes and improvements, and incorporate some of the less urgent but no less valuable feedback we’ve received from players like you. We plan to release our first major patch, Version 0.2, by the end of the month, if not sooner. We’ll also be releasing a more detailed roadmap of future updates soon!
This particular patch focuses on those progress-blocking and physics related bugs, as well as smoothing out the customer order experience, based on your feedback. We’ve also fixed a brand new Blooming Tea bug inadvertently caused by the previous patch.
For those of you who haven’t been following along with every patch, we’ve compiled some of the more significant bug fixes and improvements since our launch, and added them to the end of this update. Our launch discount will last until the end of the Steam Summer Sale on July 13th, so if you’ve been waiting for a smoother gameplay experience before taking a chance on our Early Access game, this may be the right time for you! We hope this past week demonstrates our dedication to Pekoe's continued development, and we’d love for you to join us in making Pekoe the best game it can possibly be.
Thanks again to everyone for working hard to help us address all of these issues as quickly as possible!

- Customers will now appear while you are inside your house!
- As a reminder, there is a chance of a new customer or resident request at the change of each hour. Previously, you would have to exit and re-enter your teahouse in order to see the newly arrived NPC, but now they will appear while you are already inside.
- Additional prompts have been added, to remind players to try Solo Tea Making at least once to trigger a Solo Tea Making Tutorial
- Not completing this tutorial may have been preventing customers from entering the shop
Bugs
- Bug reports now working on Mac OS
- Fixed blooming tea flower spawning bug
- Fixed bug where teaware often wouldn’t instantiate properly while using Infuser Baskets
- Fixed bug where Mjorn would remain at Player’s House if Decorating Tutorial was interrupted, preventing other customers and cats from visiting. Decorating tutorial should now resume properly, even if loading from save file.
- Cream loading properly
- If you are restarting from a previous save file with this issue, speak to Mjorn one more time, then enter and exit the Decorating screen to properly end the tutorial
