Long time no see Tea Makers!! We know it's been a while since you've heard from us, and we haven't forgotten about Pekoe. We look forward to sharing the latest content updates with you soon, but for now, we're excited to share that we'll be boothing Toronto Game Expo 2025 on March 29-30 at the Queen Elizabeth Building. It's been awhile since we've done an in-person event, and we can't wait to see you there!

We’re part of the Indie Developers Showcase, which will feature over 30 tables of independent game creators. Play indie games, meet the developers, and join our Indie Stamp Rally!

We’ve got an important update about Pekoe’s Early Access.
It wasn’t an easy choice, but we made this decision with the game and our team’s well-being in mind.



We love Pekoe and want to see it thrive as much as you do. That’s why we’ve made the tough decision to extend Early Access, despite previously announcing a 1.0 launch in Q4 2024.

[h2]Why extend Early Access?[/h2]
Unforeseen complications have made it clear that Pekoe isn’t ready to leave Early Access just yet. We’ve implemented some significant changes to improve the game’s feel and performance in the long run. Our goal is to ensure you have the best, most cozy tea-making experience possible.

[h2]What does this mean?[/h2]
While 1.0 won’t be released this year, we’re still actively working on content and updates! This next one is a big step forward, and we’ve got even more exciting news to share soon.

[h2]When will Pekoe leave Early Access?[/h2]
We don’t have a specific date yet, but we’ll continue to listen to your feedback and keep you updated as we progress.

We've been working on some visual adjustments and we're excited for you to see how bee-utiful it all is 🐝 We’ve also been busy squashing bugs and making the game even cozier! Big thanks to everyone sending in bug reports—you’re the best! 💛



As a reminder, if you are experiencing a bug, you can report it in-game by pressing the F2 key or the drop-down button in the top right corner of the screen. Our Discord also has a bug channel for more in-depth one-on-one support! In particular, if there is a bug that you’ve already reported a while back but is still happening, there is a chance that this is a bug that we’ve had difficulty reproducing. We'd love to have you if you can hop into our Discord to help us track down and squash these pesky recurring bugs!

Introducing our new honey teaset! It's un-bee-lievably sweet! 🐝

• A new Honey flavoured summer tea set has been added! Find it at the Fish and Flower: Bed and Breakfast 🍯

[h2]Bugs[/h2]

• Fixed a few ways to soft lock yourself in the tutorial by backing out of tea-making 🍵
  
• Removed placeholder dialogue in the tutorial 🗨️
  
• Fixed Bug being sad about sunny weather 🌞
  
• Bushes are growing on both sides of the Mayor's house again 🌳
  
• Added a proper fallback font, so letters with diacritics now blend in beautifully with their neighbours 🌸

[h2]Improvements[/h2]

• We're enhancing the charm of your teahouse by introducing various new interactive elements! See if you can tell which items have been adjusted for curious cat paws.

Please make sure to restart Steam to receive the update. You can see your current version number on the title screen to ensure you have the most recent update!
