[/h3][p][/p][h2]Hello Researchers![/h2][p][/p][p]This is a special devlog, because it’s the last one planned for the Early Access period. I’ve recently completed adding all the content for the full release, and have started the playtesting + polishing phase. Whoo! The next dev update will be the release date announcement 👀🎉[/p][p][/p][p]In the meantime, here are some of the content to look forward to for 1.0 (spoilers for Eira's wedding dress design below!).[/p][p][/p][h3]Legendary Research 💠[/h3][p]There are 4 legendary research tasks. They only unlock after the MSQ is complete, and have unique rewards. The legendary creature/fish can only be tamed/caught once. The legendary plant, however, can be found repeatedly.[/p][p][/p][p] Find the 4 legendaries![/p][p][/p][h3]Wedding Outfits, Spouse Routines 👰[/h3][p]Each marriage candidate has a unique wedding outfit that they wear to their wedding.[/p][p]Eira's wedding dress reveal![/p][p][/p][p]Spouse routines have also been added, where spouses will path from their new home to their regular workplaces and other locations. Spouses will have new dialogue in certain scenarios. There will also be small cutscenes on your birthday and wedding anniversary.[/p][p][/p][h3]Show Affection 💕[/h3][p]Show affection to your spouse any day, any time![/p][p][/p][p]That is, unless your spouse is upset…[/p][p][/p][p]While there isn’t a relationship decay mechanic, it is possible to make your spouse unhappy by gifting them disliked gifts or skipping Hangout Events multiple times. Their dialogue changes when they are unhappy. Gifting them liked/loved gifts will make them happy again.[/p][p][/p][h3]Collections Menu 📖[/h3][p]Here, you can review pristine parchments, cooking recipes, and research samples. Pristine Parchments will also be added in the v1.0 update - these papers are hints for secrets that the player can discover.[/p][p]Check the Cooking Recipes you've unlocked![/p][p][/p][h3]Other additions 🎨[/h3][p]Supporting NPCs such as the Caravan Owner now have their own portraits! I finally have some time to work on these additional artwork. Look at him :D[/p][p][/p][p]There are also a bunch of other additions that I'll leave for you to discover when you play![/p][p][/p][h3]What’s next 📝[/h3][p]I’ll be working on the trailer + marketing materials, as well as playtest and polish the game to give as smooth of an experience as possible. Patch v0.13.8

A few fixes and adjustments:
Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where Theo's Building Tab does not show up at first, and only shows up after the game is reloaded.
- [Controller] Fixed a visual bug for the trowel, where the tooltip for viewing crop details is not aligned.
- Fixed an odd interaction where Greydohr appears at the house, if Greydohr's house upgrade cutscene clashes with another morning cutscene. Greydohr will now walk up to the player's house instead of appear there when the cutscene starts.
- Fixed Powered Chest not detecting a Preserver if the Preserver is placed after placing the Powered Chest.
Adjustments:
- Set Crafting Station tooltip placement to a fixed position instead of following the cursor.
- Set Siever-type objects tooltip placement to a fixed position instead of following the cursor.
- Trowel Cursor now reflects the colours of the different tool tiers.

Patch v0.13.7

Some fixes:
- Fixed a bug causing Layla's 'Seeking Starburst' quest to not complete.
- Fixed a bug causing items to swap in the inventory when trying to ship more than 40 different items.
- [Controller] Reduced the sensitivity of tool selection using Right Stick.

Just a minor addition for players who find themselves stuck in a collision box:

[h2]Hi Researchers![/h2]

It's been a while since my last update about the progress towards 1.0! Amidst the minor updates (v0.12, v0.13) that included several QOL features, I've been working hard on the final content for Research Story 1.0.

[h3]📖 Additional Main Story Quests leading to end-credits[/h3]
While the current Main Story Quest (MSQ) does give an 'ending' in the current version of the game, there are some loose ends remaining, as some of you have pointed out. I've added an additional 'Epilogue' segment to the MSQ, to give a more conclusive end to some of the story elements. It will be a (fairly) short questline that will lead you to the end-credits of the game. Players can continue to enjoy the game and end-game content indefinitely after the end-credits.

Due to spoilers, I can't show you much! I hope you enjoy it when the time comes.

[h3]💍 Proposals and Reverse-Proposals[/h3]
In the full release, players will be able to reach ❤️Red Hearts with all 10 romanceables of the game. Once you reach ❤️Red Hearts, you'll unlock the proposal or reverse-proposal event specific to each character. A proposal can be scheduled as a Proposal Date (player-initiated), while a reverse-proposal includes a Proposal Cutscene from the NPC (NPC-initiated).

During or after those events, you'll be able to gift a Ruby Ring to the character, finalising the engagement! You'll unlock several Wedding Outfits in your Wardrobe the following day.

NPC hearts will max out at 🧡 Orange Hearts if they are not romanceable or if the player is already engaged/married.

[h3]💐Wedding[/h3]
While engaged, you can schedule your Wedding Day, just like how you'd schedule a Hangout Event. You can even choose the type of decor you'd like for your big day!

On the day of the Wedding, time is paused in the morning for you to make preparations (e.g. change into different outfits/hairstyles). Once ready, you can attend the wedding by leaving the house.

Your spouse moves into your home right after the wedding! ✨ Spouses will have new sweet things to say and will continue their usual routines but also spend time in the spouse room.

[h3]📝 What's next[/h3]
I've completed the Red Heart (i.e. proposal) content for all 10 romanceables. Each Red Heart Event is unique to the character and their stories, so it should feel very special~ I'm looking forward to seeing players experience those proposal cutscenes and dates!

I'll be working on unique spouse dialogue and routines next, as well as some small married life events (such as celebrating the player's birthday and the couple's wedding anniversary).

After which, I'll start work on the Legendary Research content, and spend any remaining time adding other end-game content. There are also some artwork-related & polishing tasks that I've left to the end (e.g. Fiances' Wedding Outfits). I'll work on those after the texts are done and I share them with the localisation team (for CN).

All in all, things are progressing well and I'm really looking forward to the full release! As we get closer to the end of Q2 2025, some of you might be curious about the release date. I can only confirm and announce the date when the game is ready, so please give me a bit more time for that. The community has been so patient and supportive, which I'm very thankful for. It surely keeps me going!
