StarRupture - Developer Update: February '26
Hello Convicts,
We’re excited to share that the very first content update for StarRupture Early Access is coming really soon!
To make this waiting a little bit sweeter for you, we want to share a sneak peek of what we’ve been cooking in our little studio after the Early Access launch last month and what you can expect in the upcoming update!
The world of Arcadia-7 is a treacherous world torn by the constant fire bursts from the Ruptura star. But despite the danger and catastrophic waves of fire, nature finds its way. The foliage is regrowing, the water replenishes, and the planet rises from its ashes. What else should you encounter in a living, breathing world? Native animals and critters! We are very excited to expand Arcadia-7’s ecosystem with new wild fauna.
Say hello to the Corallion. Corallion loves the water puddles, although you won’t be able to see his happy face there.
Vulpir, on the other hand, happily jumps on more mossy regions. Just look at this little fellow - don’t say you intend to shoot him…
If you've already launched the Forgotten Engine, you're probably wondering what's next.
This update will allow you to venture into uncharted territory beyond radiation. So make sure you have room in your inventory for new discoveries during your exploration.
As part of the update, you will be able to unlock improved versions of selected buildings via the Development Station. They will surely increase your efficiency as you progress.
Yes - the new travel system is incoming! Alongside the already available Teleporter, the Zipline will definitely come in handy with a much bigger map area available for exploration.
Besides new content, the update will also bring a multitude of fixes and most-requested improvements you’ve been sending to us via our official support page, the Steam Forum, Socials, Reddit, and Discord.

We’ve celebrated a Polish tradition today with a huge amount of “Pączki”. Do you recognize this sweet treat? And don’t say they’re Donuts - they do not are Donuts - they’re so much more than Donuts…
Some of our team members managed to eat half a dozen of them each, so it means tons of calories to burn now… oh, well… it was so worth it!
