FEBRUARY MULTIPLAYER PLAYTEST
Surprise, Keepers!
[p][/p][p]As you are all very aware, multiplayer for Dome Keeper has been in the works for quite some time and the team have been working super hard to try and perfect the experience for you all.[/p][p][/p][p]We're almost at the finish line and are now ready to launch a public playtest here on Steam today as a bit of a stress test to make sure there's nothing glaring that we've missed, and to iron anything out that might come up as a result of a mass group test! You can find a link to join the playtest on the store page (don't mind it saying "Dome Romantik", it really is "Dome Keeper").[/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]We expect to have the playtest run for the whole week until the 15th of february. Your feedback is super valuable, and we need to make sure we can keep up with it, so for now we need to limit the playtest to a few thousand players (if even that many people join).[/p][p]We strongly encourage you to join our super active Discord server where you'll find many amazing community members ready to assist, help and group up for multiplayer shenanigans too. There is no public lobby feature, so you do need to have some Steam friends to play with.[/p][p][/p][p]One fantastic way to provide feedback is this form we prepared. If you can find a few minutes after you playtested, please fill it out, it helps immensely![/p][p]Playtest feedback form[/p][p][/p][p]For anyone taking part in this playtest, we really do appreciate you so much. To report any issues or just write down some feedback, please use Discord or the Steam forums. We'll keep a close eye on both and track all issues, even if we do not immediately reply.[/p][p][/p][p]Yours multiplayeringly[/p][p]Paige[/p][p][/p]
Quick FAQ
[p]Do I need to own the base game to join the playtest?[/p][p]No, anyone can join.[/p][p] [/p][p]What are the "invites" I have?[/p][p]Initially the playtest is not restricted in how many people can join. However, if in two days or so we see that we have as many people in the playtest as we can reasonably handle, we will close joining. In that case you can use the invites to still invite friends to the playtest, despite it being closed to the public.[/p][p][/p][p]Do I keep the game after the playtest concludes?[/p][p]No, when the playtest concludes, the app will not be usable - just like a demo that is taken offline.[/p]
