Hotfix 1.0.0.3a

Hotfix 1.0.0.3a fixes evade chance to rarely not apply the 50% damage reduction and fixing a recursion on latest updates that will interfere with the dpad node jump for controller in the skilltree.

Bugfixes:
  • Fixed evasion chance rarely not applying the 50% damage reduction. I think this should be fixed now, but if you still get no damage reduction anytime while on 100% evasion chance, please report it so that I can digg deeper.
  • Fixed dpad node jump for controller in the skilltree stopped working for some controllers due to a recursion in one of the latest updates.

Update 1.0.0.3

With Update 1.0.0.3 we are continuing to adress lates bugreports and issues as well as improving range weapon scales, weapon effects and range aim indication.

[h3]Major Changes and Improvements[/h3]
  • Range Weapon sizes have been rescaled to make range weapon sizes look more consistent. Some range weapons ended up quite tiny compared to others.
  • Range Weapons now indicate the current aim angle instead of the previous angle offset to make it easier to see your aiming direction
  • Improved Weapon Effects for some range weapons
  • The descent expedition return portal now properly leads back to the map and not to the town ankerath to prevent getting locked out of your run.


[h3]Bugfixes[/h3]
  • Further improvements to the pathfinder initialisation and map spawn algorithm to fix rare cases where maps are missconnected
  • Fixed blocked gatekeeper progress when doing running a rift and then getting back to the gatekeeper arena
  • Fixed wrong challenge description for defeating stonesmasher with earthshaper weapon and earthwalker trinkets, this achievements requires 4 earthwarlker trinkets equipped.
  • Fixed coop players spawning in map objects and getting stuck when activating coop mode
  • Fixed phoenix shapeshifting form form burning feather trinket not taking your own projectile amount into account. You are now spawning additiona projectile instead of only the 6 phoenix projectiles.

Hotfix 1.0.0.2b

With Hotfix 1.0.0.2b we are finally fixing the rare occuring bug that leads to incomplete initialised pathfinder and crashes later on when selecting maps. We are also addressing some lost controller focus issues with the pathfinder and the difficulty tier UI.

  • Pathfinder initialisation is now more robust which should prevent incomplete spawned maps and issues later on selecting these maps.
  • Added additional event info that the 1.0 Release event takes part in the public season 1.


[h3]Bugfixes[/h3]
  • Fixed a crash when loading a map after incomplete initialised pathfinder on a fresh run
  • Fixed being able to change game difficulty tier with map node selected on controller. This has lead to lost focus needing to close and open up the pathfinder again.
  • Fixed lost focus on controller when selecting a map in pathfinder that can not yet be activated. The close button there now becomes initial focus.
  • Fixed a potential crash when using mouse and controller on the fly during gameplay due to a recursion of the latest skilltree controller improvements in 1.0.0.2a.

Hotfix 1.0.0.2a fixes the critical bugs and crashes from your recent reports. Thank you everyone for reporting your issues and crashes. We do our best to resolve and fix them as soon as possible.

[h3]Major Changes and Improvements[/h3]
  • Dynamic Controller Hints in Skilltree: The controller hints now update when switching input types after you entered the skilltree
  • Improved shadow effect on the Aeodra Arena border to better visualise hidden enemies


[h3]Bugfixes[/h3]
  • Fixed a crash when using the mouse on controller input to hover and click the skillgems menu button in the skilltree. Stats, skillgems and the crafting menu are now only accessible by using the controller shoulder buttons LB/RB. You can close the skilltree by using the controller select button or by hovering over the return button as before. On mouse input everything remains the same.
  • Fixed all permanent shields not getting activated once they have been fully charged. Sorry for missing that. All permenent shield should now reduce incoming damage as stated on the character specialisations.
  • Fixed a potential root cause for resetting your tree of light setup on starting a fresh character. Please report if it still gets reset. Its normal that on each character slot you have the possibility to setup a fresh tree of light config to prevent having to spent shards of refund only when playing a second character while the first is still alive.
  • Fixed enemies on the Aeodra Arena border triggering wave end before they got defeated

Update 1.0.0.2

Thanks for all your support and for reporting bugs and sending us feedback. We deeply appreciate it ♥

With update 1.0.0.2 we are adressing a potential crash as well as plenty of improvements and small balancing adjustments to skills that did not have functioned in the designed way.

For most players the game seems to run stable. If you encounter any crash or issue please report them, so that we can fix them as soon as possible.

[h3]Major Changes and Improvements[/h3]
  • Completed rift levels are now shared among all character slots, you can now continue your max rift push with any character slot you want. Therefore whenever you complete a rift this max level will be available for your other character slots as well.
  • Rift UI now displays times with proper format 5:04 (was 5:4) and fonts now feature improved alignment.
  • Improved player and permanent ability initialisation for faster load times.
  • Movement tutorial now displays movement keys in WASD order


Balancing:
  • Swirl got adjusted swirl speed and the reduced projectile speed was removed to prevent having too many projectiles on screen that impact performance.
  • Range Constructs now inherit the behavior of melee constructs and do not trigger attack effects on placement, as the already trigger your range attack effects on normal construct attacks.
  • Melee Constructs now as well support spawning multiple of the same companions form ascended weapon abilities.


[h3]Bugfixes[/h3]
  • Fixed a crash related to permanent abilities (permanent companions, permanent shield effects) on re-initialisation when swaping weapons or loading new maps. The whole activation and deactivation of permanent effects got more robust and failsafe.
  • Fixed evasion chance stat not being applied and therefore not triggering evasion damage reduction at all
  • Fixed not being able to interact with rift city portal after walking away from the skyforge with opened UI without closing it.
  • Fixed challenges and achievements not triggering when you have swapped your stashed weapon during the fight
  • Hybrid skill nodes are now included in the skill gems filter tabs for Echoes of Fate and the skillgems UI.
  • Fixed additional linebreaks in specialisation skill node tooltips
  • Fixed death stat counter iterating with lightfragments as well
  • Evasion Chance is now capped at 100%
  • Fixed projectile shield made projectile stop rotating and persistent after a scene switch to skilltree
  • Fixed duplicated merchant on event start
