  • [p]Fixed Roman numerals for levels in Chapter III.[/p]

[p][/p][h3]🧩 Unity Engine Security Update[/h3][p]The game now runs on a patched version of Unity, which addresses a recently reported security vulnerability.

Galaxy Highways is OUT NOW!

[h2]Hello everyone![/h2]

After 5 years of development alongside our full-time jobs and families, Galaxy Highways is finally here! We poured our hearts and a piece of ourselves into this game, and we're incredibly happy to finally share the full experience with you.

So far, the feedback has been amazing. We’re receiving so many positive feedback here on Steam and also across social media. It truly means the world to us. Thank you!

[h2]What to expect in the full version[/h2]

[h3]🎮 18 handcrafted pixel-art levels across 3 story chapters[/h3]
Each chapter featuring a unique enemy faction from the Mantis species. Every enemy is little bit different and has it's own unique attacks.

[h3]🚀 3 playable ships, each with distinct primary weapons and stats to match your playstyle[/h3]
  • Incruster – A balanced all-rounder with average HP, DPM, and dash energy regeneration.
  • Bulldog – A fast but fragile glass cannon with powerful laser attacks and high DPM, but much lower HP.
  • Arrowhead – A tanky missile ship with high HP and larger size, but slower movement, lower DPM, and weaker dash regeneration.

[h3]🧨 13 additional secondary and special weapons to create your build[/h3]
7 secondary and 6 special weapons, each with unique visuals and mechanics including rail gun, missiles, homing missiles, arc gun, defend turrets, mines, blast waves, and more.

[h3]⚙️ Temporary level upgrades and permanent upgrades[/h3]
Dock serve as upgrade hub, with each upgrade represented by a base building. You can upgrade your ship HP, primary weapon damage, dash regeneration, temporary upgrade (boost) time limits, continual reload and more.

Some of the upgrades can also be unlocked through optional side missions with their own unique enemy challenges.

[h3]👾 11 unique boss fights[/h3]
Each boss has distinct mechanics, plus a variety of mini-bosses like various mantis battleships, space stations, and enemy convoys.

[h3]📘 A sci-fi story[/h3]
Fully voiced animated comic cutscenes (with subtitles), text-based briefing dialogues and in-game dialogue during missions.

As you might know, we're a small indie studio with limited resources, and unfortunately, we can't afford professional translations into all the languages we'd love to support. But we really want our game to be accessible to as many players as possible around the globe.

New Demo & Pre-release Trailer

Hey everyone!

We’ve got some great news for you!

First and foremost, we’ve just released a brand-new demo here on Steam. Compared to the old one, this updated demo includes a ton of new features and improvements, and truly represents where the game is at before release. Here’s a quick rundown of the main additions:

  • Scaled-Up Player Ships for better visibility and improved gameplay
  • Enhanced Visuals for all weapons and their upgrades
  • More Weapon Upgrades available in docks
  • All-New, Larger Explosions and other visual effects
  • New Parallax Scrolling Effect that helps reduce motion sickness
  • Automatic Switching between keyboard/mouse and gamepad controls at any point in the game (no menu visit required)
  • New “Snakes Hole” Level featuring a brand-new type of “Snake” enemies
  • New Snake Boss Fight
  • Boss Re-Spawn Functionality with the option to choose a temporary boost if you die mid-fight
  • Revamped Defense Missions
  • New Player HP + Dash Energy UI
  • Overall Polish and UI Improvements throughout the game and in the hangar

Dear players,

We wanted to let you know that we've decided to shift our game's release to Q1 2025.

We understand that we've postponed the launch a few times already, and we truly appreciate your patience and support. As just two developers juggling full-time jobs and family life with kids, the development has been more challenging and time-consuming than we initially thought.

Please know that we're committed and working hard to make the best game possible. We don't want to cut corners, we want to deliver something that both we and you will be proud of.

To make up for the delay, we would like to reveal our latest boss - the colossal Mantis Mining Station. Alongside its electric blasts, arc waves and projectile barrages, it launches defensive fighters to challenge you.
