1.0 Minor Update 1 (v. 1.0.28)

In PVP, you now automatically Vault if you can afford to when you click the Fight button, since there is no downside to doing so in PVP (as it only returns more Star Points than you invested). If you have the "Save For Later" perk, this is functionality is disabled.

Fixed an issue related to the event reward "Herb-Crusted Pot Pie"

The Homebrew achievement is now earnable with Drafted characters, but the Drafted character must be different from one of the premade default characters in some way.

Fixed keybinding changes not saving for many players.

Removed an old difficulty modifier that is no longer in use from the Difficulty screen's custom modifier list.

Fixed an issue where in the case of an extremely packed board, generated entities like the Marksman dummy could spawn on the wrong team's side of the board.

Fixed Potions being cleared from Morphlings when they change into new units.

Added a niche prevention to using Potions with the Enchanted Flask perk on Morph-o-minions before they have turned into a Unit - since you can't own a Morph-o-minion, this action is now prevented in that specific case.

Fixed the Privileged Position perk secretly reducing the SP cost of Mythics by 1

Fixed the Weighed Down negative perk not functioning

Fixed a minor visual issue with the enemy side hex tile appearance when loading into the Hexatach Labs table.

Fixed an issue where Cloning Capsule would sometimes stop functioning.

Morphlings holding a Cloning Capsule will now generate another Morphling instead of the unit the Morphling is cloning.

Adding some video setting safeguards to force certain settings to their current standards on launch, ones that have been removed from the video settings menu such as Resolution Scale. This would sometimes result in users who played before those options were removed having them permanently stuck to their previous values (most commonly resulting in excessively blurry textures)

Fixed a Spirit ghost holding a Receiving Ring, and a Spirit Unit on board holding a Giving Ring, creating a negation loop and resulting in a permanently unkillable army. This fix also extends to other situations where the holder of the Receiving Ring is in a state of being non-targetable and invulnerable, such as the Stasis effect.

Removed the "PVPGuy" default name. New players will need to type in a name to play PVP. PVPGuy is temporarily banned as an acceptable name because we are getting too many entries of that name in our server.

Fixed Skeleton double-revive perk carrying into future runs on the same session.

Fixed Chronometrics' faster Overtime effect carrying over into future runs on the same session.

When starting an Instant Start run on Highest CC difficulty setting, and you are advancing upward to new Challenge Climb stages you have not been to before, a pop-up will appear informing you of the new effects. This prevents players who exclusively used Instant Start from never seeing the Challenge Climb effects as they climbed.

Fixed the Combat speed display visually resetting in between fights, though this was only a UI visual, the fight speed remained what you had previously set it to.

Fixed the Vault and Rerolls unlocks not enabling their respective UI elements as of Hotfix 8

Fixed an issue where benched units could benefit from certain end-of-combat proc effects, such as the Cloning Capsule.

Fixed minor visual display issue with Army Size indicator when starting the 2nd run of a session

Fixed minor visual display issue when playing a PVE run after a PVP run.

Fixed an issue where Pilot Dave's Airship Idle sound would turn off.

Reworded the Crop Rotation perk description to be a bit more clear.

When making a bug report from the pause menu, the screenshot will now display the game screen rather than the pause menu.

Redeploy Hotfix 8

Fixed a critical issue where the Tournament finals could get into an uncompletable state, creating a softlock.

Hotfix 8 V2

Fixed a critical issue involving the Vault

Fixed a critical issue with the Tournament Registrar event

1.0 Hotfix 7 (v 1.0.25)

Fixed the memory leak that occurs whenever a run begins. We are asking for lookouts for additional bugs related to the UI, which was the source of this issue. The in-run UI HUD was deleted and recreated in order to fully reset it between runs, but for reasons we couldn't determine, the deleted UI was remaining in memory indefinitely. We are now reusing the same UI HUD object and resetting it manually, tucking away and hiding every element by hand. Keep an eye out for any issues related to any UI element that persists or doesn't change from one run to the next, and report them with F1. We will fix them as quickly as possible, but it could take weeks for us to find every niche case on our own, and feel getting this memory leak patched and live is more important.

The Combat Recap now only generates the complex UI display breakdown for the fight when the Recap is called upon. This process takes a short time, and in previous builds was always being done upon the completion of a fight, leading to some FPS dips during the end-of-fight sequence.

The Keyword Dictionary now has a 5 second buffer window before removing keywords that are no longer on screen. This allows it to be used strictly with the mouse, instead of needing to remember keyboard controls.

The Keyword Dictionary now scans keyword descriptions for more keywords and adds them, such as the description for Mud tokens knowing to also add the Hobble keyword to the dictionary.

Fixed Shillelagh causing units to be permanently rooted since Hotfix 6.

Fixed an issue with loading a PVP run introduced in Hotfix 5

Boss Heart now grants 30% Damage Amp and Resistance (instead of 50% AD, 50% Spell Power, and 40% Resistance)

Monock Sr. mana increased to 40/140 (from 0/100). Stun duration reduced to 1s (from 1.5s)

Xanatos max mana increased to 140 (from 125)

Director Glog skill damaged base increased to 275 (from 225)

Vex debuff duration reduced to 4s (from 5s) but damage increased per second to 50 (from 40).

Engineer Turret bonus damage per Engineer tier reduced to 3 (from 5).

Fixed an issue where if dice rolling was happening when a return to main menu is triggered, the dice would still be there if you returned to the main game in a new run.

Fixed an issue where Boss units in Act 2 in high Challenge Climb could be assigned a 2nd War Banner.

Fixed an issue where enemy War Banners could be assigned to special units in Boss encounters, triggering the "you can't equip Special units" DM error and not spawning the Banner.

Fixed a rare case where if you return to the main menu while processing a Rest Site's animations, if you time it just right, your Units would not save to the file and be lost.

Fixed "Spell Damage" appearing in the Keyword Dictionary permanently after entering the Pause menu.

Reduced the volume of the Centaur Derby music

1.0 Hotfix 7 (v 1.0.20)

Fixed Compendium trait filter buttons breaking in Hotfix 6

Fixed enemy morphlings not disappearing after a fight, potentially leading to softlocks.

Fixed Ignite's keyword entry stating 2% of Max HP, actual effect is 1.5%.

Fixed Food Carts event's Herb-crusted... mix and match entry stating it removes 4 Curse, but the consumables it provides actually removes 5.

Fish Roll option in the Food Carts event now grants 8 XP instead of 'a level'.

There is now a small badge in character selection that represents the highest Challenge Climb beaten with that character (thanks to Isisius for this suggestion!). Unfortunately we didn't save or track which characters beat which climb levels before to the save game data, so this is not retroactive and will only start tracking after updating your client to Hotfix 7.
