Update 0.59.0 - Gun Game

[p]Hey Soldiers! [/p][p][/p][p]After a long wait, we are thrilled to finally release this update. Mini Royale now features Gun Game as an Arcade game mode - just like many of you requested! This update also brings tournament features, an improved server browser, and several major bug fixes.[/p][p][/p][p]Also, a quick heads-up on the Map Editor: we are still hard at work on it, and it’s becoming more feature-packed and production-ready by the day![/p][p][/p][p]Thanks to all players for providing their feedback and helping our community![/p][p][/p][p]Update Notes[/p][p]Gun Game[/p]
  • [p]Added new game mode Gun Game. You start with a red ak47 and need to work through all other red weapons - then the same again but with blue weapons. This will make it harder to get more kills later on and allows newer players to also eliminate better players. You will also get reset with a melee death.[/p]

  • [p]Added support for password protected Tournament Rooms[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where a tourney match finishing wouldn't affect the tournament [/p]

[p]Hey Soldiers![/p][p]Quick heads-up on the latest update. We’ve mainly focused on reworking game sessions and Custom Games to pave the way for the Map Editor. We’re still hard at work on the map editor to make sure the release is as smooth as possible—we’re seriously hyped to see what you guys create with it.[/p][p]We’ve also upgraded the tournament system based on our recent tests. Rooms can now hold up to 300 players and will automatically split into fair brackets at the start. This is a huge step toward us running weekly or bi-weekly tournaments![/p][p]We also switched to Solo again.[/p][p][/p][p]In-Game Browser (Early Preview)[/p][p]We completely overhauled how servers talk to our backend for game session details[/p]
  • [p]You can now see all sessions (pending and running) in the browser[/p]
  • [p]No more long queues during quiet hours—hop straight into pending games[/p]
  • [p]Crashed servers won't keep showing up or timing out when you try to connect[/p]
