Server Hotfix 0.58.0.4850

  • [p]Fixed a bug in server code where we used old damage data for the stat/quest/achievement processing. For example if you hit someone with the ak47, then finish him with a kar98 - you don't get a kar98 kill instead you got an ak47 kill. This made certain achievements massively harder (like pyromantic expert) and that's how we found this bug. [/p]

  • [p]Rechambering no longer interrupts sprinting. Weapons that can be rechambered (Kar and Italian Shotgun no longer interrupt sprinting after firing a shot)[/p]

  • [p]Added Inspect functionality. This can be accessed in the Emote / Communication wheel or can directly be bound in the settings. Some Skins (right now Sugar Cane and Snowglobe Staff) have their own inspect animations[/p]

[h3]Greetings Soldiers! [/h3][p]We are happy to announce a big step towards the full Mini Royale release completed! We now have a new partnership with a premium server provider. This allows us to have servers in all regions with the same management. We can deploy updates faster, better debug bugs and better optimize server performance. Additionally, we integrated an advanced DDOS protection system that will greatly help us fight malicious attacks on release (like we experienced on Early Access Launch). The new servers should also help us address the routing issues some players had in SA that lead to a MUCH higher ping than expected. [/p][p]We also switched to the modern replication system Iris that will help us keep server performance under control with many players on a server.[/p][p]

We integrated a new optional way to link your Epic Games Account (which is our Cross Platform Provider) via the Account Settings to your already existing Mini Royale account. When you have done that, you can use it to login to your account on any other platform![/p]

  • [p]Switched our replication system to the modern Iris system from unreal - in our internal tests this massively improved server performance when a server had lots of connections. We are able to disable this new System at runtime, so if there are any netcode related bugs we will be able to revert to the original system till we fix those bugs.[/p]
