[h3]Q1 - Are there going to be human characters or are they all haunted appliances?[/h3]
Cosmopolis is hiding a lot of secrets, including survivors we haven't had a chance to meet yet.

[h3]Q2 - Will there be mod support?[/h3]
We have received numerous requests from the community to add mod support. However, our team wants to gain more experience before implementing such a feature, so we are currently conducting research.

[h3]Q3 - When do we get to kill those big plants and weeds?[/h3]
There will be an opportunity soon for players to interact with those pests.

[h3]Q4 - Will there be more non-biofuel sources of energy?[/h3]
Yes, the plan is to let players use natural energy in the future.

[h3]Q5 - Are we going to be able to go inside the buildings in the future?[/h3]
Yes! We are exploring the possibility of adding an exciting feature for exploring the inside of the buildings below!



[h3]Q6 - Will you be adding a co-op mode soon?[/h3]
Unfortunately, there are no plans to incorporate this.

[h3]Q7 - Will click-to-move ever be supported?[/h3]
We're happy to report that our team is making progress towards controlling characters as we had planned.

[h3]Q8 - Are you going to add an Italian translation?[/h3]
We've received a high demand for the addition of the Italian language so we will be considering this!

[h3]Q9 - What engine was this made in? [/h3]

[h3]Q10 - What was the inspiration?[/h3]
It's quite a vast subject to discuss. So, we love the theme of the post-apocalypse, which is evident in all our projects. But with I Am Future, we wanted to create a very positive and cozy video game about the post-apocalypse where you have your quiet place with beautiful nature around you.

Somewhere you can get away from the noise of the city and begin a new peaceful life.
The head of the studio, Eugene, got this idea when he moved from a big city into a country house during the COVID-19. The movie I Am Legend was also one of the biggest inspirations for our game; as you may remember, in the first half of the movie, the main character is living in the post-apocalypse, not surviving.

He goes shopping and listens to Bob Marley on his record player—in other words, tries to live a normal life. When it comes to the art style, we were inspired by physical dioramas with destroyed houses overgrown with greenery and half submerged in water. That seemed incredibly beautiful to us, especially considering the fact this theme hadn't been reflected enough in games.



[h3]Q11 - Any plans to be able to build furniture?[/h3]
We're planning to release a pack of decorative constructions, including the ability to rebuild previously disassembled roof objects.

[h3]Q12 - Is there a Mac version planned?[/h3]
It's in our plans for the Version 1.0 release.

[h3]Q13 - Will you be able to patch up the holes in the rooftop floor?[/h3]
Yes! This feature will be available in the future.

[h3]Q14 - Are there any plans for storing large amounts of fresh water, like in a water tank?[/h3]
Of course! We heard your requests and have this planned.

[h3]Q15 - Will the Engineer Minion have any other tasks besides refilling generators?[/h3]
Yes, our team is looking to expand the range of constructions the Engineer Minion maintains.



[h3]Q16 - Is there consideration for adding a jump command?[/h3]
The location's design is not suitable for implementing a jump feature. Some areas are currently closed off.

[h3]Q17 - What methodology do you guys work with?[/h3]
Our motto is, to work on a project until we're satisfied with it! We try to maintain a healthy and creative atmosphere so that the developers are happy to do their thing. We have weekly sprints and try not to crunch, as it negatively affects the final product.

[h3]Q18 - What does the code release schedule revolve around?[/h3]
The final update schedule will be revealed later; we are already actively working on implementing the new content and mechanics reflected in our roadmap.

[h3]Q19 - Are there any easter eggs in the game?[/h3]
Yes, there are! Can you guess them?

[h3]Q20 - Can we travel across the map later?[/h3]
The game world will be constantly expanding with new rooftop and expedition locations.



[h3]Q21 - Will there be bigger storage for wood, sheet metal, and glass?[/h3]
Yes, and, in addition to storage—an increased capacity version of the sprinkler

[h3]Q22 - Will we get to build a home instead of sleeping on the lawn chair?[/h3]
So far, we haven't planned for it, but we will add more content to help make your roof feel cozy and homely.

[h3]Q23 - Is the main character based on any of the devs? If so, who is he and why?[/h3]
Our main character embodies the characteristics of each member of the Mandragora team.

[h2]Critical Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixes to the Mariquinn quest completion bug.
  • Fixes to the “Make a Burger for Earl” quest completion.
  • Automated crafting of items when learning new recipes with the Workbench opened is fixed
  • Range of environments removed that blocked movement of the character.
  • Removed the blocker that prevented the player from activating the quest trigger while controlling minions - If you control the minions and step on the quest trigger, it won't activate
  • An ability to move/extract the minion with the drone is added (a button with the lifebuoy is added in the minion selection menu)

  • Fixed the possible problems with the following achievements: fishing-related achievements, ECOmate, energy bar, meeting Earl, the achievement of not eating biomass and not fainting before the party.

  • Fixed a bug when the resource printer was disconnected after entering the "Expedition" mode.
  • The crashed plane diorama bug that allowed interacting with Mariquinn prematurely is fixed.
  • The infamous resource stacking bug resulted in having a tower of planks and other resources is fixed.
  • You can’t now duplicate items in the storage.
  • Sprinkler returns empty bottles back to the player.
  • You can’t build around the broken stairs anymore.
  • The Hammer won’t get unnoticed after you buy it in ECOmate now.
  • Some NPC dialogues that were incorrectly used after you brought them to your base have been fixed.


[h2]Balance[/h2]
  • You can get more various items from fishing now.
  • You can get more various items from the “weeds” drop.
  • You starve slower now.
  • The minion learning recipe now doesn’t have “Programmable Core”, but got the ink and a paper.
  • The Cryptofarm balance has been updated.
  • Traders - Stan offers mushrooms and Agatha offers potatoes only after you find the mushrooms and potatoes on the roof.
  • More fuel capacity for the improved Field Kitchen.

  • The stroke settings for plants on the map have been improved.
  • A clipping of large resources has been fixed.
  • The tickets that you find in the crashed plane location now have a bigger resolution for better readability.
  • Electric poles won’t spam sparkles anymore.

  • When connecting electricity through the poles, the quest would not close.
  • Chair interaction bug fixed (how did you even find that chair?)
  • The disappearance of a sheet of iron, if thrown in the technical area, is fixed.
  • Overflowing inventory of the drone broke expeditions and it was impossible to fly anywhere.
  • After rearranging inventory items on an expedition, it was impossible to fly to any point of interest.
  • The button to open an item from a merchant would not work after receiving it on the roof.
  • At certain positions of the camera and mouse, the choice between two interactive objects would switch inconsistently.
  • Fixed the order of actions for cutting wood and metal in the fence.
  • Zoo and Abandoned Bus Stop gave only half the reward from what was promised on the global map.
  • When buying several digital vaults on an expedition with one free slot in the inventory, it was possible to lose some of the purchased items.
  • Minions stopped entering the built bridge after saving/loading.
