Hekki Allmo!

It’s been another ~4 months since our last update – and what a WILD time it’s been. So without further ado, attention to the sky, please! Incoming update, ALLMO HEKKI STRAIGHT TO YOU.
Steam Bundle with “Until Then”
Today, we are launching a 1000xRESIST and Until Then Steam Bundle!

We couldn’t be more excited for this – Until Then was one of our favourite games in 2024, with us binging the second half of the game, desperate to find out what happens next. We recommend it to all fans of 1000xRESIST and we hope that fans of each game can discover the other!

TL;DR – Until Then is a stunning, emotional experience, snag it and 1000xRESIST together at a discount!

Pick it up here:
Fan Art
There is SO MUCH amazing fan art being made! It’s been so touching to see artists adapt these characters with their own style. Each and every piece of art has brought such stupid little grins to our faces. We can’t get over it. We feel deeply humbled with how much talent is in every one of these images.

If you’d like to see fan art yourself, as they come in, follow us on Bluesky and add this starter pack! It’s no secret that we’ve been transitioning most of our social media activity there and artists have been doing the same.

We’ve collected a few pieces to showcase here, but this is only the tip of the iceberg! We hope to continue to feature more in the future.
Official Wiki
If you didn’t know, 1000xRESIST now has an Official Wiki. And better yet? It’s run by fans.

This Wiki wouldn’t exist without the efforts of Mynn, Hepi Chest Cow, Jay, Avi Avi, Ada, Pidge, fern, SpilledTe and everyone who has contributed from the Discord. Their dedication and passion to this project is inspiring to us.

If you would like to contribute, join us on our Discord. There’s a dedicated 1000xRESIST wiki channel that’s always up to something!
Content Creators
Creators and podcasters continue to make wonderful content about 1000xRESIST. Here is just a small selection–

This Save Room video replicates the UI of the game and dives deep into personal connections. Daryl Talks Games shares their love of CH9 in another video. Here is a lovely essay by our Discord’s very own Stryder. Nara’s emotional spoiler discussion! And WoolieVS is streaming the game and moving through methodically!

We were on the NoClip podcast! And the MinnMax podcast with the Mouthwashing Devs! Remy talked about Michael Bay too much on the Storymoders Podcast. We were also featured in the Game Maker’s Notebook Podcast.

It’s been so great discovering these videos and talking to all the hosts. If you’ve finished the game and need to unpack it – check these out!

(deep breath) Whep. We think this is an incomplete list, so apologies if you mentioned 1000xRESIST on your GOTY list and we missed you!

We are just so, so grateful. We don’t know what else to say.
Awards
In the last couple of months, we’ve been nominated for some amazing awards. Here are a couple standouts!
Balatro
Oh, and we’re in BALA-TRO now. Thank you LocalThunk and Playstack!
GOTY + Awards + Fan Passion = Sales??
The support from fans has been beyond anything we ever could have dreamed of. To everyone on socials, on Reddit, on Discord, and on ResetEra – THANK YOU. To everyone who has written about the game, covered it, asked us to be on podcasts, or recognized it in your GOTY lists – THANK YOU. Your recommendations and support have made a HUGE difference.

It really is working – and we brought proof ;-)

As of mid-January 2025, 1000xRESIST has sold over 70,000 copies on all platforms!

That means we sold 45,000 copies in the same time we sold 25,000 copies previously! Most games have their biggest sales spike during launch. For us, our best sales day is now January 1st, 2025 – 7 months after launch day! This is unbelievable to us. Polygon even wrote about it!

We can only attribute this to the great word of mouth and the passion of the fans. It was only possible because you have all been recommending the game to others. This wave of momentum started with people being upset for us about The Game Awards, then led into the GOTY lists, the Balatro Collaboration, the Autumn and Winter sale, and finally New Years. Even now, in January, our sales continue to be stronger than before!

(hekki holidays! We commissioned SpilledTe to make this wonderful image)

And lastly, we passed 2500 Steam Reviews! To everyone who has taken the time to leave something of their experience, we couldn’t be more grateful. If you haven’t left a Steam review yet, please do! It’s a great way to support indie devs!
What’s Next
We have a lot of things planned and we think you’ll like them.

To say carefully, we’re looking at expanding the reach of 1000xRESIST further, so keep an eye out for news and updates in the coming months.

Merch is also coming. We have started compiling a SCRIPT. Expect more Piano Books. Some more music stuffs. We are still looking at releasing models to fans, to create fan animations / content.

If you haven’t already, follow us on Bluesky, Twitter, Steam, and join our Discord. That’s where we’ll be announcing everything that we’ve been working on. We can’t wait to share it with you all this year!
In Closing...
The last four months have been...a lot – in the best way possible! We couldn’t be more proud of the game and so, so completely grateful for the wonderful community growing around it.

It still feels all very surreal to us, but as we get to work on new things of all kinds, we can’t help but feel we’re doing it a little less alone than the first time around.

A shoutout to the one and only Maarika, who we commissioned to do the main image for this post (and made the image below). It’s becoming tradition!

We look forward to more people discovering 1000xRESIST in 2025! We have some fun things in store.

Until next time, HEKKI GRACE.
