Hotfix 1.3.6

Greetings Adventurers!

Quick hotfix off of yesterday’s patch to address a couple of data issues.
First, we fixed the issue where the game was not saving adventure soon enough. This resulted in players not getting credit for completing adventures.
This also fixes the Hobo not unlocking correctly when found in her adventure. Lastly, the Foul Priestess scourge combat has been fixed and Warden Fraybee will no longer softlock the game. If players start new runs without the update they may run into Warden Fraybee crashing.
If this is the case, please download the latest update.

We appreciate everyone’s ongoing support and feedback, we’ll be continuing to monitor and address issues.

Patch 1.3.5

Happy New Year Adventurers!

Wow! What an end to 2024, we are absolutely amazed by the overwhelming number of adventurers we’ve seen travel through Fahrul in the last month. Thank you from everyone at IronOak Games and Curve Games for everyone’s time, interest, and feedback. We are back in the mix and beyond excited to continue to build on the world of Fahrul. Today’s patch contains a number of improvements that we were working on but couldn’t quite squeeze in in time before the holidays. We are hoping to have another patch come in the close future that will address some of the feedback that we received throughout the holiday season, such as the Foul Priestess issue, the Blacksmith constantly raging, a handful of desync issues, and game data not saving correctly.

[h3]ONLINE MULTIPLAYER[/h3]
  • Fixed an online softlock that could occur if the host attempted to cancel out of the adventure when connecting.
  • Fixed the issue where an online desync message would be displayed at the start of a crossplay session.
  • Fixed an online softlock that could occur when closing Player Options after it was opened during Party Management during an online session.
  • Fixed an online softlock that could occur if the Game Menu opened behind an error message that prevented the player from closing the error.
  • Made improvements to speed up connecting to online sessions.

[h3]GAMEPLAY[/h3]
  • Fixed a softlock that could occur when attempting to cycle inventory to dead party members to trade their items.
  • Fixed an issue where the inventory would become unresponsive after using the wheel in Dark Carnival.
  • Updated missing translations for Dark Carnival bosses and Scourges.

[h3]OVERWORLD[/h3]
  • Added some missing props in Swamp and Spider Forest biomes.

[h3]UX/UI [/h3]
  • Fixed an issue where controller icons were being displayed if there was no controller plugged in.
  • Fixed a softlock that could occur when opening the Game Menu at the same time with other button combinations.
  • Fixed an issue where the market menu wouldn’t close correctly after closing inventory while shopping in a Town Market.
  • Fixed the Crossplay information not fitting correctly in the settings menu.
  • Fixed a softlock that could occur when a player was cycling through the encyclopedia and then attempted to return to the main menu.
  • Added the Quit to Menu when accessing the menu in Lore Store.
  • Fixed an issue where the Encyclopedia text boxes were not scrolling correctly when using controller.

[h3]ART[/h3]
  • Improved the item card renders for all bow strings.
  • Updated slot roll icons for various combat actions.
  • Improved the visuals of the Dark Carnival House of Mirrors floors.
  • Increased the lantern lighting from the Dark Carnival Black Market.
  • Fixed clipping in the Scoundrel armour.

[h3]SETTINGS[/h3]
Fixed an issue in settings where Antialiasing (SMAA) wasn’t being set correctly.

Hotfix 1.3.4

Greetings Adventurers!

This hotfix aims to resolve the combat desync occurring when cycling targets in combat using controller triggers, or the Q and E hotkeys. We’ve also removed the Foul Priestess Scourge, Warden Fraybee, from the Overworld Scourge pool as her fight is currently causing issues.

With the holidays just around the corner, we’ll be back in January! We have an exciting 2025 planned and can’t wait to spend more time in Fahrul with everyone!

Greetings Adventurers!

First off, a big thank you to everyone who joined us on console. What an incredible turnout and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome new, and returning, adventurers to Fahrul.
