Paper House x Parallels 2022 - Live Recording!

During October last year we were honored with hosting Parallels 2022 as part of Melbourne International Games Week. Parallels is an annual event which showcases a bunch of locally made games and gives developers an opportunity to talk more openly about their creative process and why they decided to make their game.

We thought it would be fun to (very cheekily) show off Wood & Weather for the first time.

You can now watch the entire event on YouTube. Our little announcement is around the 2 : 07 : 22 mark, but the whole event is worth watching.

Become god of a toy town in this cute upcoming sandbox game

Childhood delusions of godhood will come to life with Wood & Weather, an upcoming sandbox god game about manipulating weather as you oversee a small wooden toy town occupied by Notplaymobil figures. Someone wants coffee? Fetch them a coffee. Oh it's too hot for coffee? Turn on the rain. Oh, and after all you do, they throw the empty cup on the floor? Great, thanks, lovely, pick it up and bin it for them. Check out the cute trailer below!

Wood & Weather - Announcement Trailer!

Near the end of last year we hosted a local indie games event called Parallels. It was a big deal for us and for the local games community here in Melbourne, Australia.

As a bit of a surprise to everyone at the event, we thought it would be fun to show off Wood & Weather for the first time publicly to a private room of 400 people.

We've all been working really really hard to make sure Wood & Weather is the best game it can be and it feels really nice to finally be able to show it off.

There will be more details shared that go more into the nitty-gritty of the game later in the year and we look forward to sharing more things soon!
