Update #15 v0.82.6 Patch

v0.82.6 Release Notes
  1. Fixed bug where pressing undo/replay after casting Arcane Insight, Warp Time, Gnome Scholar, Stolen Dreams, Dreamstealer attack, or any other action that would reveal hidden information about your deck or your opponents hand, would trigger a desync in the game state between the player and the AI (Thanks for the many player reports that helped fix this)
  2. Fixed bug where pressing undo/replay after casting Arcane Insight or Warp Time could result in the cost discount being removed.
  3. Characters wielding shields with the Block ability will no longer block combo attacks. We discovered a situation where this could result in a unit who is backstabbed in the initial attack turning to face a unit who is combo attacking them to block, and then, due to having changed face, can now counter attack the original attacker. We also feel this change is consistent with "units cannot counter attack a combo" rule (I mean, if they can block, why don't they also counter attack, right?) and it adds further value/reward to setting up combos.
  4. Fixed bug where Dwarf Warrior didn’t reveal enemy surprises when entering the board.
  5. Fixed bug where units with Aura buffs (Such as Red Starlings, Skeleton Captains, Ironclad Captain) were removing their aura buff twice whenever a unit was sent to the future with Sir Cheezles. (Thanks zac_s_d)
  6. Fixed bug where mind controlling a demon controlled by Dante would not result in his stats being reduced for having now controlled less demons. (Thanks Nameless)
  7. Fixed bug where helping the Griffon in Dinner A-Fowl encounter resulted in the weather of harvest world being permanently cleared of all fog.
  8. Fixed bug where Winston’s time bomb wasn’t showing the AOE of secondary targets when only a single unit target is selected. (Thanks Reiga)
  9. Fixed bug where using Resurgence to pull a damage card from the discard pile would stack the discount from a previous usage. (Thanks mr.kitty)

  1. Veil no longer blocks an ally from targeting them at range, as indicated in the keyword description, "May not be directly targeted by enemies at range"
  2. Winston’s time bomb and the Time Bomb spell can now target and destroy obstacles
  3. Demolish spell cost increased from 1 to 2. Additionally, Demolish explosion now gains the Knockback (2) bonus from Antarus, Battle Mage. Added Fire damage to the card text.
  4. Enrage can now stack and gives Knockback (2) instead of 1 in addition to +2/+2 until end of turn.
  5. Fixed bug where the Fairy Wishgiver was not granting players the wishes she promised
  6. Antarus, Battle Mage, now adds his damage spell Knockback (2) bonus to enemies with armor who are hit but not injured because the armor stopped the damage.
  7. Forcefield gained the Gravity tag and now negates gravity effects including Knockback and pull. The wording has been changed from "prevent incoming damage" to "Negate gravity, attack and spell damage until melee attacked" to make it more clear that it does not protect against hexes such as the Poison spell. Additionally, the forcefield is a half-bubble, not covering below your feet, so if you choose to walk into a spike, fire, or trap, you will bring that inside the bubble and get hurt.
  8. Fixed bug where units critically injured by the Psychic Blast spell were not being controlled by the caster of the spell.
  9. Fixed bug where return from deep water marker was being placed on tiles occupied by terrain.
  10. Fixed Collide effect so that it properly deals damage on melee attack, even if the target is knocked back. Previously, observed that hitting a Bramble Elemental with a knockback attack would avoid being injured by its collide damage.

More fixes for our winter update. Thank you so much for reporting these issues :)

  1. Fixed bug where Dante, Demon Lord’s "Deal 3 fire damage on play demon card" was able to be triggered more than once per turn as indicated in its card description.
  2. Fixed bug where Temporal Storm was not properly creating return markers for each unit, resulting in some units being sent into the "unknown future" and never returning.
  3. Changed the duration for Warcry: +X/+X until start of turn again so that it persists on the players first turn only if they are the player taking the first turn.
  4. Fixed bug where the debuff removal of heal+debuff removal guardians wasn't functioning.
  5. Fixed bug where having units with aura buffs, spell power buffs, or cost discounts weren't properly removing their effect when the character was temporarily removed from the board by being knocked into water or sent into the future.

Special thanks to our community member, mr.kitty, for quickly discovering and reporting many of the inconsistencies in the card text/ability and bugs that were fixed in this patch.

  1. Fixed the "Warcry: +X/+X until start of turn" abilities for all units so that it can now be used on the first turn. Previously, the effect was applied at start of battle for wolves and satyrs, but then wore off immediately at the start of their turn (as expected) without having had a chance to be utilized. Note: Watch out for wolves! I recommend approaching maps from the vertical ends to avoid getting ambushed and chomped up.
  2. Fixed the "Inflict Remove Equipment" for all units which was, instead, removing buffs.
  3. Fixed Invoke Elemental spell so that it can now be undone after being cast to test different tiles for different elements since this is known, not hidden information.
  4. Fixed Turn Back Time spell so that it now correctly heals all allies instead of just 1 ally.
  5. Fixed Bloom spell so that it no longer applies double buffs to plants. Also fixed targeting so it cannot be cast on obstacle plants, such as wheat.
  6. Fixed Purify so that it now correctly removes debuffs.
  7. Adjusted gold costs of all the cards for the shops, fixing, among other things, the 0 cost Celestial Thunderstrike card.
  8. Fixed Bard’s new remove debuff ability so that it now works as expected.
  9. Changed the duration of Inflict Vulnerable (All) from "until end of their turn" to "until end of turn".
  10. Fixed Melt spell so that it now works properly according to its card text.
  11. Fixed bug where the Dance with the Devil all-star team couldn’t be played because it illegally contained two Incubus (which were changed to guardians). I replaced one
  12. Incubus with a Shadow.
  13. Fixed bug with Soothsayer’s psychic attack range and his card draw ability.
  14. Fixed bug with Fairy Queen’s psychic attack range.
  15. Celestial Thunderstrike now deals shock damage.
  16. Fixed bug where player was prompted to choose biome after completing a battle in battle mode having just returned to title screen from an adventure.
