The Thaumaturge News

Important news regarding The Thaumaturge’s release date

We’re happy to share that the game is now complete, and numerous reviewers have it already in their hands. At the same time, taking February’s busy launch period into account and the opening for a better release window, we’ve decided to take this opportunity to give The Thaumaturge more breathing room so it receives the attention we believe it deserves.

We want you to have enough time to enjoy the game in full, and we feel that the current release window is not the perfect moment for it. With that in mind, we are moving the launch date to March 4th, 2024.

The additional time we’re getting will be used to polish the game further so that your journey through the streets of 1905 Warsaw is even more enjoyable.

We truly can’t wait for you to play it, and thank you for your patience!

This particular quest, titled ‘To Dust, You Shall Return’, unfolds across several locations in Warsaw, which was under the yoke of Russian rule at the time. Poles, Russians, and Jews all coexisted within the city’s borders as it flourished culturally and architecturally before WWII, making it the perfect setting for an RPG. First stop? The elegant Imperial Hotel, where Wiktor meets Swietłana, a member of the Tsar’s court desperate to escape the city.

The game's releasing on February 20th. Add to wishlist:

The Thaumaturge | Salutors - Morana [EXTRA]

Hello everyone,

This post is a result of a series of articles which appeared on GameRant recently. They're a great lecture, if you'd like to learn even more about The Thaumaturge!

📕 All the articles can be found here:
Morana
A quiet death beneath the water
In ancient Slavic beliefs, the cycle of death and rebirth plays a prominent role. This is why the death of the Goddess Morana at the end of each winter is also considered the rebirth of Spring. Each year, a ritual is held to celebrate the arrival of Spring, during which the participants sing traditional songs and throw effigies of Morana into the water.

However, only those skilled in the art of thaumaturgy know that there's more to these rituals than meets the eye. This is because Morana is also a powerful Salutor, but she is not easy to meet. You can try to find her lurking just beneath the water's surface, waiting to take a surprised victim into her cold and deadly embrace.

News of drownings at a specific spot along a river bank can be a clear indication that Morana hides nearby. She excels in fogging the minds of her prey, making them more susceptible to her attacks.
