CULTIC Demo - V021N Balance Patch



It is Wednesday my dudes

Big patch for CULTIC inbound! This patch brings some bug fixes, but mainly significant balancing changes. Read below for specifics!

[h2]Changes[/h2]
  • Added Large First Aid Kit pickup to a couple of spots in the map
  • Slight accuracy nerf for pistol cultists
  • Slight accuracy curve for pistol cultists' that decreases precision at longer ranges
  • Dramatically reduced enemy sight lines
  • Increase range at which enemies can wake other enemies
  • Axe swings / fist punches should no longer alert enemies
  • Additional cover added to rope bridge area
  • Small tweaks to water room to prevent the need for swimming to cross the room
  • Small tweaks to roadside to provide additional cover from watchtower cultists
  • Added more 9mm ammo to Holding Facility
  • Added a Lever Action spawn along the main path, so players don't have to secret-hunt to find one
  • Shotgun spread decreased by 20%
  • Shotgun pellets increased by 1
  • Implemented a fix to address enemy health values not being boosted based on difficulty properly
  • Fixed bug where music wasn't syncing between save states properly
  • Fixed bug where unaware enemies that were ignited could be reset by nudging them
  • Lowered enemy damage scaling on higher difficulties

CULTIC Demo - Patch 021M

Howdy all

Quick patch to re-introduce the weapon scroll wheel, which was omitted from the demo due to an issue with Unity's Input System not allowing for weapon wheel rebinding. Unfortunately, this issue still has not been fixed, and I can't get an answer on when it will be, but for now, I just did a hard-binding to allow the scroll wheel to once again scroll through weapons.

The binding can be disabled, or inverted, from Options > Controls

  • Re-implemented weapon scrolling with a hard mouse-wheel binding
  • Added Controls option - Disable Weapon Scroll
  • Added Controls option - Invert Weapon Scroll
  • Added another layer of garbage cleanup to Survival to increase stability
