Dune: Imperium Digital 3.3.0 Patch Notes

[p]Today's update introduces challenge balance adjustments, AI improvements, bug fixes, and a variety of quality-of-life upgrades. It also brings Immortality to the Skirmish rotation, along with new rules and scoring mods that showcase mechanics from the expansion.

  • [p]The current Ranked season now uses the Go to 11 Rules variant.[/p]

  • [p]Tooltipping the Foldspace board space should now display the number of Foldspace cards in the Reserve[/p]
  • [p]Deck icons for both local and enemy players are now the same shape.[/p]
  • [p]Alliance token icons for both local and enemy players are now in the same order.[/p]
  • [p]Conditional Agent icons on cards are now easier to read[/p]
  • [p]The Harvest Specimen icon was updated to more clearly indicate that the troop(s) are returning to your supply.[/p]
  • [p]Added a hotkey "I" for expanding and collapsing the Imperium Row[/p]
  • [p]Added a warning for grafting Ghola to cards like Power Play which will not allow you to gain extra Influence.[/p]
  • [p]Added new SFX for graft and specimen abilities.[/p]
  • [p]In games with a modified endgame threshold, such as the Go to 11 variant, a visual indicator was added to the user’s VP icon indicating the new threshold.[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Bug Fixes[/h2][p][/p][h3]Ranked, Skirmish and Challenges[/h3]
  • [p]Placeholder stars should no longer display under the Ranked badge when a player is Master rank.[/p]
  • [p]The Rank Up prompt should no longer display text about earning stars when the player is Master rank"[/p]
  • [p]If undo is used after gaining the first Alliance in the Deadly Alliance rules mod, Full-Scale Assault should now be acquirable when an Alliance is next gained.[/p]
  • [p]The in-game tracker for the Technological Diversity Skirmish rules mod should now track points instead of the number of Tecs acquired.[/p]
  • [p]The Skirmish gamepad Resume prompt close button should now be centered.[/p]
  • [p]The animation for the Deadly Alliance Skirmish rules modifier should now indicate that you acquired a Full Scale Assault card.[/p]
  • [p]In the Prepare for the Storm challenge, Fremen Bond abilities from drafted cards should now trigger for AI players correctly.[/p]
  • [p]In the Prepare for the Storm heroic challenge, AI players should no longer start with a Convincing Argument in their deck.[/p]
  • [p]In the Prepare for the Storm challenge, Guild Ambassador should no longer be used in Pool 4 of the AI's draft instead of Guild Administrator.[/p]
[h3]Display Issues[/h3]
  • [p]The game mode description for House Hagal in the Create Game screen should now explain Expert Troop Deployment.[/p]
  • [p]Selected factions in prompts should now appear brighter.[/p]
  • [p]The Rise of Ix (ROI) image should now be centered properly in the Ranked screen.[/p]
  • [p]Rhombur’s Buy Tech prompt should now have the correct thumbnail image.[/p]
  • [p]The Trash prompt for Stitched Horror should now have the correct thumbnail image.[/p]
  • [p]Water Peddler's cost icons should now be consistent with other cards and appear within the card’s border.[/p]
  • [p]The Trash prompt for the Research track should now have the correct thumbnail.[/p]
  • [p]The Research Track, Imperium Row window, Action Log, and Trash / Discard window should now each collapse when any of the others is expanded. [/p]
  • [p]The opponent reveal animation should now include the total persuasion and strength generated from all sources.[/p]
  • [p]After grafting a card to Chairdog during an Agent turn, if you reveal and then undo, the card should now retain its dimmed appearance in the play area.[/p]
  • [p]Board spaces to which you can infiltrate an Agent should no longer appear darkened.[/p]
  • [p]If Reverend Mother Mohiam is grafted to Ghola, animations showing the discarded cards should appear for both discard effects.[/p]
  • [p]Undoing a Reveal turn while you have Minimic Film should no longer cause your Persuasion count to briefly increment.[/p]
  • [p]When grafting Usurp to Reverend Mother Mohiam in the Imperium Row, the corresponding animation should now show opponents' discarded cards.[/p]
  • [p]Observer mode should now display Epic and Go to 11 icons in the HUD.[/p]
[h3]Gameplay - Rules[/h3]
  • [p]If Ghola copies an Agent box that provides troops, the short or no troop warnings should now appear if appropriate.[/p]
  • [p]Imperium Row should now reopen after using Research from Tleilaxu Master.[/p]
  • [p]The "Acquire Foldspace" ability button should no longer appear when there are no more Foldspace cards available to acquire.[/p]
  • [p]Slig Farmer should now grant the correct amount of Solari when grafted onto a card with conditional Agent icons which have been modified by Dispatch an Envoy.[/p]
  • [p]Scientific Breakthrough’s research ability should now defer when it's used to send an Agent to a space which draws cards.[/p]
  • [p]Using For Humanity's reveal ability and choosing a new Alliance leader due to a tie should no longer cause the Influence to be lost twice..[/p]
  • [p]Discard abilities that draw cards should now have a "cannot undo" hover icon.[/p]
  • [p]Playing Twisted Mentat while The Voice’s effect is active should no longer extend its effect another turn.[/p]
[h3]Gameplay - AI[/h3]
  • [p]AI players should now make better choices around grafting Ghola and Chairdog.[/p]
  • [p]AI players should make better use of Long Reach’s conditional Agent icons ability.[/p]
  • [p]General improvements to how AI players calculate reveal ability values.[/p]
[h3]Gameplay - Action Log[/h3]
  • [p]All research track abilities should now have Action Log entries.[/p]
  • [p]The Influence gain from acquiring Memocorders should now appear in the Action Log.[/p]
  • [p]If Kwisatz Haderach is used to send an Agent to Secrets and an Intrigue card is drawn, the Intrigue card should now appear in the Action Log.[/p]
  • [p]Resource gain Action Logs from playing Breakthrough should now appear as a sub-entry beneath it.[/p]

  • [p]Players should no longer be able to use hotkeys to open the Bene Tleilax board in non-Immortality games.[/p]

[p]Greetings, leaders of the Great Houses![/p][p][/p][p]Today’s patch contains continued fixes for stability, functionality, and quality of life following the release of the Immortality DLC. Some highlights include a bevy of visual fixes, corrected functionality for new cards, and a series of AI upgrades which should make it feel more intelligent when playing with Immortality.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Client Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]Blank Slate should now display its “If Grafted” icons when you play it before the card you Graft to it.[/p]
  • [p]When using a gamepad to advance on the Research Track, the player pip should animate smoothly to the next space.[/p]
  • [p]Agent icons on cards in hand should no longer flicker when undoing an action or ending your turn.[/p]
  • [p]When tooltipping a card, agent icons should now animate in more smoothly.[/p]
  • [p]Long Reach's conditional agent icons should now display as enabled when you have a Bene Gesserit Graft card in hand.[/p]
  • [p]Discarding should no longer be mandatory when triggering two snooper tokens in the same turn.[/p]
  • [p]When previewing the Tech Tile tray during an opponent's turn, the displayed Techs will update if another player purchases from one of the Tech piles.[/p]
  • [p]Dispatch an Envoy should now only cause faction icons it actually adds to glow, instead of making all faction icons on a card glow.

  • [p]The Overpowering Dread challenge special rule should no longer give players Immortality intrigue cards.[/p]
  • [p]If you use Usurp’s graft ability to gain and deploy troops, and undo the deployment, you should now be able to redo it.[/p]
  • [p]AI opponents should now use Ghola more intelligently.[/p]
  • [p]The “opponent is playing a card” reminder prompt should no longer flicker when an opponent plays a Graft card.[/p]
  • [p]In the Prepare for the Storm challenge, you should no longer be offered multiple copies of the same card in a single pick.[/p]
  • [p]The Disposal Facilities button should no longer disappear after spending persuasion gained from Bene Gesserit Sister.[/p]
  • [p]You should now be able to undo resolving a Research icon before actually selecting a space on the Research track.[/p]
  • [p]The AI should now properly evaluate cards which have conditional effects that require them to have a certain amount of influence with a faction.[/p]
  • [p]Agent box abilities should now always trigger correctly when using Usurp to play cards from the Imperium Row.[/p]
  • [p]The AI should better evaluate when to use its Graft cards, and should no longer Graft for no benefit.[/p]
  • [p]The AI should no longer graft Ghola to cards that trash themselves.[/p]
