The demo of Hail to the Rainbow is now available!




Friends, the demo of Hail to the Rainbow is now available on Steam! I hope this segment of the game leaves a good impression and sparks your interest in the story.

I did my best to polish the demo as much as possible, but of course, there might still be some minor issues.

I’d like to remind you that on 14 October (the start of the "Steam Next Fest"), a contest will be held where you can win keys for the full release version. The demo itself will be specially updated for this event, with some changes to watch out for. I’ll provide more detailed rules on 14 October at 10:00 AM PDT, right at the start of the festival.

Demo Trailer

Greetings, Friends!

I am excited to present the new trailer for the demo version of the game, which will be released on October 11th! As I mentioned earlier, this year I decided to participate in the "Games to Be" festival and have prepared a two-hour segment for this event.

You will be able to fully explore the project and its core mechanics, watch several cutscenes, experiment with the photo mode, and enjoy the wonderful compositions by Nobody's Nail Machine.

Since the demo will be released on October 11th and the festival itself begins on the 14th, I have a small request for all those who care – please launch the game once more on the day of the festival after the update. The more player activity we see, the more likely it is that Steam will promote the game and make it more visible.

To motivate you to relaunch, I’m offering a CONTEST in which three winners will receive a key to the full release! On October 14th, the game will be updated again and ready for the contest. I will provide more detailed rules later (there will be a new post).

Announcement of Hail to the Rainbow DEMO



Greetings! I’m breaking the silence to share some exciting news: I’m currently preparing a game demo for the upcoming Steam Autumn Game Festival! After much deliberation, I decided to participate. The demo will feature a section of the game with a playtime of 1.5 to 2 hours. In this episode, players will be able to see several cutscenes and experience some of the core mechanics.

The demo is expected to be released in early October, just before the festival. This is a thrilling moment, somewhat akin to a release, as players will get to see the project with their own eyes for the first time. I originally hoped to finish earlier, but, as is tradition, the polishing process took longer than anticipated.

Unfortunately, I still can't give an exact date for the final release. There are still many unfinished aspects in the project, and I’m working through numerous details and conditions. Given the considerable length of the game, polishing and regular testing are consuming a lot of time and effort. I’m now aiming for a release in the first quarter of 2025. But the end is in sight, which is encouraging.

Development progress



Hi all! Work continues . Now I am actively polishing locations and mechanics.

It turned out that even if something seems complete, many nuances later emerge and the path to the finale may be longer. But the process is underway.

Some time ago I published new materials on social networks, and I share them here. Video with fragments of locations, and examples of the photo mode. I think in the world of Hail to the Rainbow there will be a lot of nice places to create interesting shots.

I can’t announce the exact release date yet. I really hope to finish the work at the end of this year, but perhaps the release will be scheduled for early 2025. All the best!

The work is nearing completion!




Hello! I've been working on "Hail to the Rainbow" for five years now. Crazy timing, especially for an indie. The process is intense and emotionally difficult. With each new game you try to invest more and more, pay attention to details, you want to make everything as perfect as possible, and this makes development time longer

I finally completed the base of the game, finished all the locations, mechanics and started polishing the project. In general, there is still a lot of work, but the finale is already visible ahead. Last week I played the entire project for the first time, from start to finish. Walkthrough took about 10 hours!

Also, the voice acting for the game was recently completed. For the first time in my project there will be English voice acting. In my practice, this is a big and difficult step, I hope, despite the nuances, it will be a pleasant addition for players :)






It’s not often possible to share the results and remind that work is moving forward, but sometimes I share various materials in public pages. I will give a few examples here.
