[h3]What is Lucky Tower Ultimate?[/h3]
Lucky Tower Ultimate is a comedic, roguelike adventure game following the trials and tribulations of a narcissistic knight… as he repeatedly tries to escape the dangerous tower he’s been trapped in.

The levels and layout of the tower are procedurally generated, so no two runs of Lucky Tower Ultimate will ever be the same. There are many different traps, weapons, monsters, and rooms to experience.

Lucky Tower Ultimate is the third game in the Lucky Tower series. Lucky Tower 1 and 2 were Flash games made by the same game designers in the 2010s.

[h3]What makes Lucky Tower Ultimate different from Lucky Tower 1 & 2?[/h3]
Lucky Tower 1 & 2 were Flash games that were closer to interactive cartoons than full-featured games. In the original Lucky Tower, you would pick a door that was either the correct path or not—there was only one solution, and it would never change between playthroughs.

Lucky Tower Ultimate is a fully-realised culmination of the series. It is procedurally generated, with many different ways to escape the tower. Each run is unique, with puzzles to solve, combat to hone your skills on, items and loot to combine in unexpected ways, a village that tracks progress across your runs, companions who unlock new quests, and so much more to discover.

[h3]How long is gameplay? [/h3]
We estimate it would take a skilled player at least 10 hours to see everything in the Early Access build. A single run of escaping the tower can be completed relatively quickly if luck is on your side, but you will not experience all the different rooms, items, enemies, quests, and companions in one run.

At 1.0 launch, the True Ending will be added to the game.

[h3]Will my save file and meta progress continue through Early Access into 1.0? [/h3]
Yes, you get to keep your goodies!

[h3]When will Lucky Tower Ultimate be available and for how much?[/h3]
Lucky Tower Ultimate will be available in Early Access on September 13, 2024 for $14.99.
You’ll be able to play the game at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 6pm CEST.

[h3]I played the demo, what cool new content can I expect at the Early Access launch?[/h3]
Here is what you can expect in terms of new content at the Early Access launch:
  • The completely playable tower, including the never before seen 4th level of the tower.
  • The village outside the tower, where you can spend your money for meta progression
  • Sound effects for all items and traps added to the game
  • Alva as a companion
  • Slime enemies!
  • Bug fixes
  • Steam achievements

[h3]What upcoming content do I have to look forward to?[/h3]
Here is a brief overview of some upcoming content you can expect throughout Early Access:
  • An upgraded look to the cave
  • Introducing new companions
  • NPCs that offer you quests
  • New rooms added to the tower

Early Access Launch Sept 13 2024!

Lucky Tower Ultimate coming to Early Access on September 13 2024!

We hereby announce that Lucky Tower Ultimate will launch into Early Access on September 13, 2024 for $14.99. What could be luckier than releasing on Friday the 13th!

You’ll also be able to find us at Gamescom from August 21st - 25th, where you can play the Lucky Tower Ultimate demo at the Home of Indies booth.

The demo is playable on Steam from today, until the end of Gamescom on August 25th. This will be the last time the demo will be available before the Early Access release!

We can’t wait for you to join us on our journey through Early Access. For those of you who’ve spent a hundred hours in the demo already, you can look forward to new content at the Early Access launch, including:
  • The completely playable tower, including the never before seen 4th level of the tower
  • The village outside the tower, where you can spend your money for meta progression
  • Sound effects for all items and traps added to the game
  • Alva the witch as a potion brewing companion
  • Access to the balcony, where you can jump and run on the facade of the tower
  • Slime enemies
  • Steam achievements

Early Access now Coming in September

[h3]Lucky Tower Ultimate Early Access now coming in September[/h3]

We know you're excited for Lucky Tower Ultimate, and we want to deliver the best possible version on day one of Early Access. In order to do so, we need to take a few extra weeks to add the finishing touches to the Early Access build, and finish translating all our puns into multiple languages (we wrote a lot of great new stuff for the Village, oops!). The release will now be in September.

Stay tuned for the exact release date of Lucky Tower Ultimate, which we’ll share in the coming weeks!

Hello, you lucky adventurers, you! June has been an incredibly busy month for Evelius and the Studio Seufz crew. Here’s a little recap of everything we’ve been up to, and what we’re working on.

Lucky Tower Ultimate is Coming to Early Access!

In case you missed it - we announced that Lucky Tower Ultimate is coming to Early Access in August 2024. We released a brand new trailer with the announcement you can watch here:

Introducing… THE VILLAGE

One of our favourite German content creators Gronkh showed off some EXCLUSIVE footage of the Village in his German Indie Showcase! If you’re clever and talented enough to escape Evelius’ Tower, Von Wanst will be able to explore the bustling area and purchase items to help him on his next run. Get ready to explore the Village when Lucky Tower Ultimate launches into Early Access!

Final Demo Update

Lucky Tower Ultimate has been featured this past week in the Games Baked in Germany Steam Event, along with a demo update. On July 1st, the demo will come down in preparation for Early Access launch in August.

Demo Patch Notes:
  • It mainly includes bug fixes, aside from that there a some notable changes:
  • Door handles stay down once you enter a door, so you'll know which room you entered already.
  • Chests now have color-coded locks and keys. For every locked chest, there should be a fitting key on the same floor.
  • Reduced number of haircuts, for consistency with the Early Access release (sorry, more haircuts need to be unlocked at the barber in the future!).
  • Improved ragdolls for some enemies.
  • Some UI polishing
