Hotfix incoming!

Hello, Dealers!

After a big update there’s gotta be a hotfix. So there is!

IMPORTANT: We recommend not using mods, as they can potentially cause issues in the game.

Changes: Change name of “LSD compound” to “LSD”;
Influencers now will only accept LSD (LSD compound);
Potential customers won't want LSD anymore;
Added missing translations;
Increased price and quantity of LSD produced by lab technician.

Fixes: Fixed an issue where distributor sales rules cannot be set correctly for dealers in other regions than the distributor;
Fixed an issue where an NPC in the LSD questline was not visible in coop to a guest;
Fixed an issue where the client could duplicate itself;
Fixed military stash textures;
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to enter a room with a safe in a villa on a private island;
Fixed an issue where not all warehouses were marked on the minimap;
Fixed an issue where mid-tier recipes for lab tech could not be unlocked correctly;
Fixed an issue where the yacht “Caballo del Mar” may not have been properly interactive after it was purchased;
Fixed an issue where a passenger in the “Bong Voyage” yacht was sitting in the incorrect position, and after leaving the yacht, his camera was skewed;
Other minor fixes.

Happy playing!

Update Summary

Hi there, Dealers!

We wanted to thank you a lot for your many positive words about the latest update. Many of you shared your thoughts and the crash reporter also started collecting feedback. Thanks to all of that we can start working on fixing deeper problems and game issues.

After the update went live we’ve seen a huge number of gamers playing DDS2 at the same – we hope it’s gonna happen again many times in the future! So, thanks again.

Also, a hotfix is on its way! It’s gonna address missing translations and bugfixes.

And now, we have some bonus news to share with y’all. DDS2 is coming to PLAYSTATION®5.

Yep, you heard that right. The PlayStation 5 version of the game will contain all the PC updates, including the most recent lab technicians, advanced drug mixing, overdose mechanic, and more. And you can already find the store page over at the PS website. And DDS1 is coming soon to Xbox, too, with DDS2 to follow later.

Cheers!

Major Update + ongoing sale!

Dealers, it’s time for the “Production Enhancement and Narcotics Industralization System" update! Hm, that really is a tongue breaker, maybe an acronym would be better. Anyway!

This MASSIVE update is now live on Steam and as promised earlier, it includes new mechanics to give you more options as a drug lord.

IMPORTANT NOTE: this update introduces the overdose mechanic, so take a careful look at the mixes you’ve made so far. More toxic combinations may kill your clients. And ya know, less clients is less money!

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: If you’re using any mods, they might be incompatible after this update. We recommend uninstalling them until the mods’ creators have had a chance to update the mods as well.

IMPORTANT NOTE 3: If you bought the Caballo del Mar sailboat, it will return to its original position. You'll have to pick it up from there.

1. Crash Reporter - a crucial new feature that’ll help us directly collect crash reports and reliably fix the issues. Due to the implementation of crash reporter, this update will require you to re-download the game, so around 22 GB.

Fixed yacht inventory access bug and increased yacht inventory sizes;
Fixed issues with the yacht jetski position after traveling or loading the game;
Fixed the „Caballo del Mar” sailboat save and load bugs and teleporting under water bug. Fix is retroactive, if you bought the bugged yacht, it will return to its original position in Dueno del Mar, but you will still own it and be able to retrieve it;

We call this new update the “Production Enhancement and Narcotics Industrialization System" extension. If only there was a way to shorten it… But would we really want to?
