Remember to join us on Friday, November 22 for a livestream with Byterunners dev and Discord mods! 2 PM CET – mark your calendars.

Name that achievement!

Hello, Dealers,

Achievements are soon coming to DDS2! And here’s the cherry on the top: you get to make a few up!

What does it mean? Simply think of a new unobvious achievement that should, in your humble opinion, be included on the list. Describe what the conditions of receiving the achievement should be and give it a name – we will do the rest!

Send us your ideas here

We will choose 5 of the most creative (or outstandingly hilarious) achievements and implement them in DDS2. The creators will get a shoutout in the achievement itself – to forever immortalize your genius.

This friendly challenge will last 48 hours starting from the time of publication of this post. Time to get creative, Dealers!

Friendly reminder: join us on a DDS2 livestream with a dev and Discord mods! November 22, 2 PM CET on Twitch.

And here’s a little sneak peek into the Casino DLC: new location incoming!

Pedro Pascal’s Javier Peña confirmed + environment reveal

Hello there, Dealers!

More and more is happening in the world of DDS x Narcos, and the True Games Syndicate team wants to share some of it with you today as part of DDS Madness 3.0!

First of all, it's confirmed: DDS x Narcos will feature Javier Peña, a character portrayed by Pedro Pascal. Cheers to that!

And secondly, a peek into the game’s world. DDS x Narcos will take you to the Ghetto in its less crime-ridden days, so you’ll be able to revisit the locations from DDS1 and see them in a different light. We don’t want to spoil too much… But then, we want to show a bit of the town from before the criminal revolution.

Oh, and did we mention that DDS1 is coming to Xbox consoles? If you’re a console player and want to enter the world of dealing on a big TV, you can follow the game here.

At the same time, let’s not forget about DDS1. We prepared a minor update for it too, to address some remaining issues with the latest Visual Update. Read more in the dedicated post.

In the upcoming days we’ll have news about DDS2 (achievements incoming!), the Casino DLC, and DDS x Narcos, so don’t forget to follow our Discord and the DDS Series franchise page on Steam.

Last but not least, both titles will be on sale starting today, and if you’re a console player - DDS on Xbox is confirmed! Say whaaat? That’s right, see more here, and add the game to your wishlist.

We hope that the improvements already in place and those yet to come elevate your DDS experience at least by 420%.

New update is live! Fixes and quality-of-life improvements

Dear dealers!

We present to you the newest update from the team behind DDS2. This time the patch focuses on upgrading some features as well as introducing some quality of life changes and fixes. The Byterunners team is continuously working on improving the game as far as bugs and shortcomings go. Also, they’ve finally been able to focus on adding stuff as well!

There are more features in the works, waiting to be deployed in future updates.
Update Notes
Features:
 • Boats will now have the ability to dock anywhere on the map, not just at predefined ports. Just point the bow of your boat towards a flat piece of land, and when you see the docking prompt, you’re good to go! Yachts will remain as they are… for now.
 • The world map now has clearly marked borders between regions, and displays their names.
 • You can see the crafting queue visualization when hovering over crafters.
 • Added buttons for the manual setting of the amount of packaged drugs.

Bugfixes:
 • Fixed a bug where an amount confirmation window popped up when moving only one portion of drugs.
 • Fixed (this time for real) crafting timers displaying and counting time incorrectly.
 • Other minor fixes.

If you still experience crashes after this update, it will be very helpful for us if you report it using this form https://forms.gle/DYrWgArXqesqHcP69

Note to all who have mods: Mods may not be compatible after the game update and may cause problems. Please uninstall mods until they are up to date.

Soon to come: achievements! Stay tuned.
