Hello castaways! We have been hard at work to finally announce that we are releasing our Early Access on Steam on September 23rd! ːlove_seagullː

We want to thank everyone who has been responding to the forms, which has proved to be our most useful benchmark. Requests for new playtest access have now been disabled, but will continue with the current playtesters as we prepare for launch. Hope you guys are as excited as we are! Here’s our roadmap with the key features for each week:

August 31st

1. Runtime generated biomes. Every gameplay is guaranteed to be unique!
   
2. First round of optimization.
   
3. Fishing.
   
4. Farming overhaul.
   
5. New discoverable repellents.
   
6. Food seasoning.
   

September 7th

1. More islands.
   
2. Improved intro sequence and tutorial.
   
3. Second round of optimization.
   
4. Improved underwater scenery.
   
5. Fully translated localization.
   
6. New plants.
   
7. Toolbelt extension.
   
8. New quest.
   
9. QoL updates and bug fixes.
   

September 14th

1. New buildables.
   
2. Improved UI.
   
3. More QoL updates and bug fixes.
   

September 21st
Our last Playtest round before launch. We are dedicating it for full-focus on remaining bug fixes.

After we launch our Early Access, we will begin the playtests for:

1. Holiday content.
   
2. Console release.
   
3. Co-op.
   

Hello castaways! As announced early this week on our discord and Playtest version, we are now nearing our Early Access release! You can expect an announcement of our Early Access release date within a week.

If you haven't gotten access to the Playtest (beta testing) yet, you can still request it via our Steam store page. Thanks for everyone who has signed up so far and have been providing feedback.

Don't forget to wishlist us!

Our released Early Access will contain:

1. Crafting of 30+ different tools and weapons.
   
2. Building of 50+ different structures, utility and modular houses.
   
3. Procedural islands: Each gameplay is unique.
   
4. Resource gathering: Pick, forage and chop vegetation.
   
5. Vitals: Balance your hunger, thirst, temperature, sanity, vitamins and proteins and energy to survive.
   
6. Weather: Rain and foggy cycles.
   
7. Day and night cycles.
   
8. Custom-made modular rafts.
   
9. Hunting: Spear and rod fishing and different traps for water, land and air animals.
   
10. 4 quests and one mini-quest.
    
11. Scavenging: Break down found junk.
    
12. Cooking, brewing and seasoning.
    
13. Exploring: Each island pose a different strategy, with unique key elements.
    
14. Underwater: Ruins, wrecks, resources and beautiful scenery.
    
15. Farming; Grow your own resources.
    
16. Mining: Gather and smelt ores for equipment.
    
17. Blueprints for complex structures.
    
18. Easter eggs.
    
19. Full controller support and custom keybinds.
    
20. Localization of 14 languages.
    

After our first retail patch, we will be working towards console support and co-op.

Hello castaways. A new update 0.0.31 is available for our Playtest version. This update brings in new weapons and tool tiers, available through mining. We are also starting with an UI overhaul, which will open doors for localization for the next patch.

If you do not yet have access to the game, you can simply request access to the playtest via our steam store page. We roll out access at random every update. We are hoping to officially announce our early access launch date pretty soon, as we begin to deploy major quality of life changes.
