2023 G-STAR Indie Showcase Participation

This event will be held at BEXCO in Busan Centum City from 2023-11-16 (Thu) to 2023-11-19 (Sun), and you can find our game on the first floor of the second exhibition hall.





At our booth, those who play the game will have a chance to enter a prize draw.

We've prepared our custom-designed desk mats and glasses cleaning cloths.

G-STAR Indie Showcase Online Tournament

Hello, Veteran agents of Kusan! It’s been a while!

Did you enjoy the Steam demo in July?

We are currently participating in the G-STAR Indie Showcase Online Tournament in Korea. So, We prepared a new demo reflecting the feedback We've received. The demo will be available for play from 10.10 ~ 10.22 (in KST).

However, there are a few things to note:

- The demo play is only available on the Korean game platform ‘STOVE’ (accessible from overseas).
- Due to rating issues, some visual effects are removed. (no cigarettes, drugs, or bloodstains. Only this build)

Offline exhibition participation is determined through user voting, and only the top 40 teams will be given the opportunity to exhibit. Voting will be conducted on the Korean platform ‘STOVE’.

- This demo is separate from the second Open Play Test.
- In the future, we will release tests that reflect more stages, systems, and feedback.

BIC Fest Demo Close

Hello, Veteran agents of Kusan!

The period for the Steam demo play we prepared in line with the last BIC Festival online exhibition has ended.

It has been a short time since the last open playtest, and we reopened the demo soon after.
But thankfully, a lot of people are coming by and playing a lot.

We plan to participate in other game events besides BIC in the future. From now on, we plan to conduct demos or playtests in line with the scheduled events, just like this time.

FAQ

[h2]1. When did the project start?[/h2]

The project started in 2018. This is our first game, and we have a lot of things to learn, and it seems to have no end.




[h2]2. How many people are on the team?[/h2]

There are four members of the team. The team consists of one game designer, one programmer, one artist, and one community manager.




[h2]3. Languages support?[/h2]

At launch, we are considering 5-6 languages, including English and Korean. Others depend on contracts with publishers. But we didn’t contract with the publisher yet. We’re looking for suitable partners.




[h2]4. Translator?[/h2]

We contracted a translation company through the state-funded project, but the result could have been better. We’ll deliver feedback to them and fix it.

I appreciate the passionate fans who have offered to help with the translation. We have concerns regarding various aspects, such as creating cutscene sound effects, producing images, providing a translation environment, and finalizing agreements with relevant parties. I cannot clarify something right now. But I’ll find a solution to satisfy our community. It will start before we start translation for more languages after development.

PC, Switch. We have a Switch dev kit, but not for PS and XB, at least now.




[h2]6. Release Date?[/h2]

We plan to finish the whole content in 2023. After other work, the release date will be Q1-2 2024.




[h2]7. Soundtrack Release?[/h2]

Music is composed by Korean hip-hop producer ‘Loptimist’. We want to publish the soundtrack for the game, but it needs more talk with him.




[h2]8. Other Playable Character? Ayn?[/h2]

Sorry, but no ‘character’ is in our plan.




[h2]9. Speedrun system?[/h2]

We found that some players want it. But not only speed is an essential thing in this game.




[h2]10. More Options? (Key Config, Text Scroll)[/h2]

We’re making ‘Key configurations’ right now. And other options(like a display resolution set) are also in progress.




[h2]11. More Playtest?[/h2]

Sure, there will be more playtests. But only some tests will be public. The estimated next test will be in November.




[h2]12. Motivation?[/h2]

Hotline Miami, Katana Zero, Metal Gear Solid, Hades, God of War, Sekiro, and many great games influenced a lot, big or small.




[h2]13. More artwork?[/h2]

Our in-house artist is currently producing only the minimal required artwork for the production. Leading up to the release, we will occasionally share work-in-progress updates on platforms such as the Steam community, Discord, Twitter, and others.
