[/p][p]As we have stated, you will be able to carry over your saved game from the demo to the full version of Abyssus. And yet, to do so effectively, there is a simple manipulation to perform. Nothing like standing on a beacon to charge it while shots are being fired all around you![/p][p][/p][p]What you need to do:[/p][p][/p][p]1) Find the folder located at:[/p][p]C:\\Users\\Username\\AppData\\Local\\AbyssusDemo\\Saved\\SaveGames
[/p][p]2) Find the file called SAVE_GAME_SESSION_SLOT.sav and the file called \[your username].sav 
[/p][p]3) Move both files into the folder located at:[/p][p]C:\\Users\\Username\\AppData\\Local\\Abyssus\\Saved\\SaveGames[/p][p]
That's it! Once you start the full version of Abyssus, the demo save will be carried over to the full game. To prevent accidental savefile deletion during demo uninstall, we are delaying the demo retirement until launch day, allowing players who wish to safeguard their files to do so.

As we move closer to the full release of Abyssus on August 12, 2025, it's time for the demo to sink back into the depths.

Starting August 5, the demo will no longer be available. While it’s been an amazing way to introduce you to the world of Abyssus, the game has evolved dramatically thanks to your feedback with new features, deeper systems, improved balance, and a whole lot more brine.

Put simply: the demo no longer reflects the game we’re about to deliver.
But don’t worry, your save file will carry over into the full game at launch.

Over 200,000 of you have dived into the depths with us, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Every run, every bug report, every comment helped shape Abyssus into something better and closer to the experience we envisioned.

We can’t wait to show you what’s next.

To be sure you’re prepared for your upcoming dive on August 12, we’ve come up with a brand-new expedition:
Dive into the all-new Gardens biome, a lush yet haunting domain where aquatic guardians stand ready to defend the ruins of their lost civilization from intruders.

And since the challenges will be tougher than before, we’ve got you covered with a brand-new, electrifying weapon: the Tesla rifle! Its electric power can be concentrated onto a target or arc among the enemies, delivering devastating bursts of damage to tightly packed enemies. Its true potential is unleashed through secondary mods, enabling powerful charged attacks.

The Tesla Gun will be joining the arsenal you’re already familiar with:

• The Brine Revolver: A masterfully crafted semi-automatic sidearm designed for reliable critical strikes. Built for precision and power, the primary fire mode excels in close-quarters combat, delivering consistent damage to deal with nearby enemies, while the secondary fire lets you pick off distant foes while aiming down its sight.
  
• The Engine Rifle: A powerhouse of the depths, the Engine Rifle earns its name from its fiery temper. Use your secondary weapon to rev the engine into overdrive, unleashing bursts of raw power while pushing heat levels to the brink.
  
• The Shotgun: A true staple of any FPS arsenal, this juggernaut is built to deliver sheer devastation at close range. Unleash a relentless spread of bullets that tear through guardians with raw stopping power.
