Clank! Digital 2.1.0 Patch Notes - Draft Mode!

[p]Stop right there, thief! You’ll want to download the latest patch before you go robbing any more dragons! Today’s update is jam-packed, featuring all the usual bug fixes and improvements, plus something new…[/p][p]…That’s right! We’re very excited to release the brand-new multiplayer Draft Mode! Pick 7 cards to craft a powerful starting deck and get a head start on your dungeon diving! Keep reading to learn more about this exciting new mode, as well as the many other fixes and improvements we’ve brought to Clank! Digital in 2.1.0![/p][p][/p][p][/p]
New Feature - Draft Mode
[p]If you’ve ever played the Professionally Prepared challenge in the base game, or the Deep Sea Mission challenge in Sunken Treasures, Draft Mode will feel a bit familiar. These challenges allow you to draft seven cards at the beginning of the game (along with three Stumbles) to form your starting deck, and this functionality now comes to multiplayer games![/p][p]To play the new Draft Mode, simply select the “Draft Mode” checkbox during game creation. This mode is available in all online multiplayer games, both live and async, and in local pass and play. (It isn’t available in solo games versus the AI - if you want to play Draft against computer opponents, the challenges are already there for you!)[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Note that in these games, starting decks are more powerful and games are often high-scoring. As a balancing measure, this means that you’ll draw four cards every round instead of the usual five. [/p][p]This has been one of our most-requested features across all of our games, so we’re happy to be able to bring it to you, free for all players![/p][p][/p]
Improvements
• [p]Took a holistic pass on room and tunnel hinting to improve clarity, particularly around the secret tunnels which wrap around the map.[/p]
• [p]Reduced length of the teleport animation.[/p]
• [p]Added greyed-out versions of sold-out market items, allowing you to tooltip them even when they’ve all been bought.[/p]
• [p]Sunken Treasures avatars are now available to be selected in all lobbies, regardless of the expansions used. (Limiting them to Sunken Treasures lobbies was always meant to be a temporary fix for a graphical issue which has since been resolved, so there’s no reason to keep them locked away anymore!)[/p]
• [p]Changed the prompting in the Weighed Down challenge to make it clearer why you’re discarding a card at the start of your turn.[/p]
• [p]Added a Medium graphics quality setting to Android devices.[/p]
[p][/p]
Bug Fixes
• [p]The Burrow Mounds map preview should now display its artifacts in the correct locations.[/p]
• [p]The game should no longer fail to display results in cases where all players escape or are KO’d.[/p]
• [p]The tiebreaker rule should be fixed – previously it was giving the win to the player with the highest total value of artifacts, it should now correctly give the win to the player with the highest-value single artifact.[/p]
• [p]If you are KO’d in the depths and use the skip to results feature, when you press Show Map, it should now show the map updated to the end of game state.[/p]
• [p]The Submariner Heist modifier should now properly count every SCUBA tunnel you crossed.[/p]
• [p]You should now be able to undo the discard portion of Fishing Pole’s ability.[/p]
• [p]The AI should now choose to defeat the Goldfish instead of the Goblin when it is able to.[/p]
• [p]If you undo purchasing a Crown, Mountain King’s icons should now disappear. (Note that this was a visual issue only and was not affecting the resources the card actually granted.)[/p]
• [p]The secret tunnel highlights on the Shipwreck map should now hint the correct icons.[/p]
• [p]Adjusted the position of several one-way arrows on the Sunken Treasures maps to ensure they aren’t covered by player icons or other hinting.[/p]
• [p]Tweaked the hint colors for Deep Dive’s multi-discard prompt to make them easier to differentiate for certain kinds of colorblindness.[/p]
• [p]Corrected some localization and markup errors in action log items in non-English languages.[/p]
• [p]The Fast Mode toggle’s tooltip should now properly display in your selected language instead of only appearing in English.[/p]
• [p]Flying Carpet should no longer erroneously believe it has flavor text.[/p]
• [p]Your own chat messages should no longer cause you to see the “new message” icon when you close the chat window.[/p]
• [p]Push notifications for the start of your turn should now be properly delivered on iOS and Android devices.[/p]
