STONES KEEPER - Devlog #2

In today's post we will talk about the additional game mode. The idea of this mode occurred to us while working on the Order of the Griffin campaign. The further we went in the development of our project, the more we liked it, and at some point, it was obvious that we should expand the idea. Despite that, according to the original idea, the player could only play for the human side, we decided to refine the other opposing sides and allow them to be playable as well.



This mode will not feature scripted missions, but rather complete freedom of action. During the campaign buildings will open only after a significant part of the scenario has been completed. In this mode, however, everything will depend on how quickly you collect the resources, and the castle leveling workshop will be available from the very beginning.

The path you will take will not only be filled with enemy settlements, but also with pirate ships, artillery mounts, and research objects. Remember to keep in mind that your enemies are very determined. Dont let them get their hands on generous loot.



In this mode, there will be four opposing races, each beginning the battle in their own location, so you will play for each side and get a unique experience. Each unit has its own equipment, so recruiting mercenaries from one faction into an army can completely eliminate cooperative efforts with others.
