It is our pleasure to inform you that STONES KEEPER: KING AURELIUS will be released very soon and you will finally be able to immerse yourself in the story of an old King. What will be available?

- King Aurelius' standalone campaign, lasting approximately two hours. Providing more lore and insight for the main game, this will tie into the events of the game.
- Free roam battles on 3 different maps
- 2 playable races: humans and undead

Although the economic system of our project isn't the central mechanic of the game, it's still worth discussing. In addition, it will provide answers to why the castles fly and give some insight into other peculiar mechanics of the game.

Gold, wood, and stone are the main resources, but we won't talk about them here. Elemental stones (water, fire, earth, air) are the hot topic of our discussion today. They are easily the most valuable resources that will enable you to get additional opportunities. These items can be found either by fighting elementals or by carefully exploring the map, investigating the ruins, or looting chests.



For instance, in order to allow your castle to travel further, you need to upgrade its movement module. And the Air Stones are the ones required to do this. You can improve your artillery power with an Earth Stone. Whether you're looking to hire an elemental guard to protect your army or if you're looking to buy unique gear and elixirs for your troops, these stones will be a big benefit to you. During the introductory part of the campaign, you will also need to gather resources to build your new castle, and for that purpose the Air Stones are essential. (A small spoiler: The King Aurelius prologue will reveal the fate of the previous fortress that belonged to the Order of the Griffin).



Using the Market building, you can exchange resources and purchase elemental stones. We incorporated a dynamic resource cost system which takes into account the number of resources on the map and the number of resources exchanged by the player. In other words, by visiting the market, you will know how unique the stones that you have received are, and if it is worth using them to improve your economic situation, or if you should save them for other important improvements.

In today's post we will talk about the additional game mode. The idea of this mode occurred to us while working on the Order of the Griffin campaign. The further we went in the development of our project, the more we liked it, and at some point, it was obvious that we should expand the idea. Despite that, according to the original idea, the player could only play for the human side, we decided to refine the other opposing sides and allow them to be playable as well.



This mode will not feature scripted missions, but rather complete freedom of action. During the campaign buildings will open only after a significant part of the scenario has been completed. In this mode, however, everything will depend on how quickly you collect the resources, and the castle leveling workshop will be available from the very beginning.

The path you will take will not only be filled with enemy settlements, but also with pirate ships, artillery mounts, and research objects. Remember to keep in mind that your enemies are very determined. Dont let them get their hands on generous loot.



In this mode, there will be four opposing races, each beginning the battle in their own location, so you will play for each side and get a unique experience. Each unit has its own equipment, so recruiting mercenaries from one faction into an army can completely eliminate cooperative efforts with others.

Our team decided to share with you the latest interesting development news and introduce you to the game!

Your army will encounter unique enemies as you campaign for the Order of the Griffin. Just recently we completed the development of several of them.

The Diamond Golem is one of the side bosses that you will encounter during the battle for the Water Temple. He looks invincible, but his power lies in the energy crystals.



The Undead Siege Cannon is the primary firepower of the Undead race. With this cannon, the undead lay sieges to cities and well-defended camps.

The demo is focus on The story of King Aurelius's courage and self-sacrifice – leader of the Order of the Griffin. The Inquisition, guarding the borderlands, asks for help as undead units are increasingly infiltrating the territory of the order. Aurelius takes on the task of protecting his own lands, unaware that this is only a small part of what his entire Order will face in the future.
