[p]Hey everyone![/p][p]We're a week away from Bit ESC's launch so I thought I'd share a little bit about the game and its development.[/p][p]![]()
[/p][p]Bit ESC is a solo-developed project sparked by me having to stare at a computer all day for a past job and dreaming about escaping the whole cycle. Work, pay bills, work more, rinse and repeat cycle.[/p][p]Now let's talk about the game itself.[/p][p]You play as Bit, you're fed up with the monotonous cog-in-the-system life and would like to see what's out there beyond the system. Thus the name Bit ESC (pronounced Bit Escape). I won't get into the story beyond that in fear of spoiling anything.[/p][p]![]()
[/p][p]There are multiple endings to Bit ESC. Your actions throughout your adventure will determine your path and the ending.[/p][p]One last thing I'd like to clarify: The game is NOT designed to be difficult. Some people look at it and mistake it for a precision platformer. Yes, there are some difficult sections but the game is designed to be an adventure with variety and surprises along the way rather than placing challenges for the player to overcome.[/p][p]![]()
