That is why we are releasing a small Hotfix to address most pressing issues:

• Kevin: Increased the damage of his slingshot.
  
• Louie: Reduced AOE and damage for his fireworks.
  
• Currency Display Bug: Fixed a display issue, where some currencies are falsely displayed with additional 0's attached.

Hello dear Neighbors!

The day we all have been waiting for has finally come - our game is out in Early Access and can be bought for the modest price of 10$ right now!

This is a proud day for us at Invisible Walls, and we literally could not have done it without you all. Your feedback this far has been instrumental in creating a game we are super excited to share with the world! This is of course not the end of the road, but rather the start. Please keep telling us what you really like or really don't like about the game, and let's continue on the journey towards an even better Neighbors throughout our early access period! We'll also be presenting a road map shortly, so you can see all the nice things we are cooking up!

To celebrate the release day, we have a couple of exciting things going on:

Twitch Galaxies stream, 9PM-11PM CEST
We're a part of the very first Twitch showcase, called Twitch Galaxies, that premieres tonight! Check out our launch trailer and content from a lot of other cool games.

"Residential Rumble" creator matches, 10PM-12PM CEST
Titans of streaming like Ludwig, Sykkuno, Ellum, fuslie, QTCinderella, lilypichu, Sydeon and fanfan
take on each other in a four on four epic battle in Neighbors. The stream will begin at 13:00 PDT / 21:00 BST / 22:00 CEST, and players can tune into the Residential Rumble via participating creator channels on Twitch. Watch for 1 hour to receive the "Modern TV" character and tool skins for Doreen in-game. Take a look at how glorious this event skin is in the gif and trailer below!

Hello Neighbors!

Today we concluded the second Open Beta playtest and first and foremost:
A huge THANK YOU to all of you who participated in our playtest — whether you were playing, chatting here on Discord, leaving feedback on Steam, or streaming the game. Your passion, ideas, and excitement have been incredible to see. It’s moments like these that show us we’re on the right path: developing Neighbors hand-in-hand with the community. 💛

We’re now taking all the feedback we received, reviewing it carefully, and working hard to optimize the game in every way we can ahead of the Early Access release on April 17th. We’ll announce the exact launch time soon™, but here’s something we can share already:

We want to fill the streets of Heartsville with as many players as possible, and we’re sticking to our “players first” mentality during the rest of development. That’s why we’ve decided to release Neighbors: Suburban Warfare for $10 / €10 during Early Access.

We can't wait to welcome you back to the neighborhood.

Howdy Neighbors!

It's been a week since we closed down the free Open Beta, and boy has that felt a bit empty! 😃

You certainly seemed to think so, we have been flooded with messages about the possibility to run another one before we hit Early Access on April 17th.

So we thought - what the heck, let's do it! 🥳 Starting on Thursday April 3 at 6PM CEST, we re-open the free Open Beta, and run it until Sunday April 6 at noon CEST.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! 😮 We mean literally, there's more content. In addition to everything in the first Open Beta, you can enjoy our second level, the Snowy Serenity Summit. We're even unlocking the full character roster that we have up until now, meaning that Louie, P-A and Mary-Jean will be playable - so expect new strategies and likely even more hilarious mayhem...

So if you haven't already, head over to our store page and hit "Request Access", to get in on the fun later this week!

[h2]🛑 THE OPEN BETA IS CLOSED[/h2]

The Open Beta for Neighbors is now over, and boy has it been a lovely time! 🤩 Almost 200.000 of you have played the game, and given us so, so much!

We are very happy to see so much excitement surrounding Neighbors be it here in Discord, but also across all our social media channels, on Twitch and also YouTube. 🥳

It was so cool to play the games with you and also to see other people play the game and have discussions about strategies or the pro and cons of certain neighbors.

After our weekly team meeting this morning it is clear: We are just so thankful for everyone playing. 💛🩵💚


[h2]WHAT HAPPENS NOW?[/h2]

I think I'm not reaching, when I say we got a shitton of feedback, recommendations and bugreports to go through and we are grateful, that we got pointers on how to make game even better. 🫡

Community-wise we are currently preparing a bigger report on the Open Beta with some interesting numbers like e.g. most played neighbors, average match length and item usage. We will try to get this done before the end of the week.

On the development side we will look at balance changes, fixes and general polishing of the game so we are ready for the Early Access Release April 17th. BTW don't forget to wishlist Neighbors to get notified when EA goes live.

[h2]📝 Localization of Neighbors[/h2]

Neighbors reached international waters and the language of the game needs more input! If you are not aware of it yet, we are translating the game together with the help of the community!

For this we are using Crowdin - a service enabling collaborative work on translations. We are always on the lookout for more support and voluntary translators. Especially looking at French, Portuguese or Spanish we seem to lack a bit. :/ After reaching a certain amount of words translated you will earn a spot in our credits and a also receive a limited digital reward, which we are currently figuring out. 🙂

[h2]Neighbors MEME Templates, Sticker & Emotes [/h2]

We LOVE to seeing so many new users in the Discord and how engaged everyone is. This is why we decided to pull the trigger and release the first batch of Emotes and Stickers. We plan to add more of these as we go along and feel free to recommend some you would love to see and use. Check them out on our Discord server!
