[p]Hey settlers ๐Ÿ‘‹[/p][p]Weโ€™ve given the stone walls a visual upgrade and polished up several systems based on your feedback.[/p][p]This update also improves the building UI, resource behavior, and fixes multiple rare crashes โ€” making Of Life and Land even more stable and satisfying to play.[/p][p]
๐Ÿ“‹ Patch Notes:[/p]
  • [p]Finally improved the visuals for the stone wall.[/p]
  • [p]The setting to disable hover markings now also consistently disables the hover markings when building new things.[/p]
  • [p]Construction sites can now show the range information of the finished building as well.[/p]
  • [p]I mproved the way people select where to get the resource from by improving the human bias cutoff for larger stocks.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an extremely rare crash where a lock statement did not lead to a full memory barrier for the critical variables at initialization time.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an extremely rare issue where a saving thread could start its work too early and access uninitialized data.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a rare crash when the text for a person's faction need is created at the same time as this person dies.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a crash when a person's faith needs info was inspected when the person just has died.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a rare crash when a person was just thrown out of a faction while wondering if there are monumental buildings in the faction.[/p]

  • [p]Added a new Lenzburg starting map[/p]
  • [p]Slightly increased the bias for the forester's hut to go for bigger trees instead of small ones that are close.[/p]
  • [p]The stonemason can now carry more stone blocks or cut stones from other locations to craft higher tier items.[/p]
  • [p]The stonemason will now always prefer own stocks if available.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where people with only non-tradable items in their inventory would still go to the community centre instead of trashing them directly.[/p]
  • [p]The task of processing common and exotic fruits in the winery has now been split into two. This provides more customisation options and makes it clearer whether you require one type of product or the other.[/p]
  • [p]The material storage can now also store coal.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where humans on tier 6 and 7 could have the visuals from tier 1 and 2.[/p]
  • [p]The faction storage UI now shows all tradeable items even if the stocks are zero.[/p]
  • [p]Made the build menu title more consistent.[/p]
  • [p]Added new upgrades to the winery, barber and apothecary requiring glass.[/p]
  • [p]The version info is now hidden per default in the bottom left of the UI.[/p]

  • [p]Non-tradeable items are no longer dumped at the community centre if their task is interrupted by an emergency.,[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where buildings couldnโ€™t be edited when the inspector was opened via the โ€œbuilding doneโ€ notification while on a different map.,[/p]
  • [p]Garden beds now only display growth stage 1 if there are fruits or vegetables, not just seeds or grass.,[/p]
  • [p]Adults will now only begin education if they are younger than 32 (previously 51).,[/p]

New Kerzoven Single City Scenario (25.07.2025)

We have released a patch that allows you to start the Kerzoven scenario on the coast map. We have also added three new AI villages with which you can trade to obtain the resources you need.

  • [p]Added Kerzoven C Scenario (Single settlement mode, coast map start)[/p]
  • [p]Added an animal count label next to the mini map symbols when you select animals to display.[/p]
  • [p]Added a hint to the map symbols to make it more clear what the button is for.[/p]
  • [p]It is now possible to show and hide animal population lines in the census UI.[/p]
  • [p]Buffed the recipes with leather.[/p]
  • [p]The water mill can now produce rags with leather only.[/p]
  • [p]Cats can now as well be freed with the unstuck animal button.[/p]
  • [p]The list of new scenarios is now sorted alphabetically on all platforms.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a potential rare crash where the static effect tree was not ready to be looked up by the engine.[/p]
