1) Thoughts on playing Allan Poe
2) A message for Yurukill: The Calumniation Games players
"Think of that hospital room scene from the Touch manga. (Translator's note: Touch was a popular high school baseball manga written and illustrated by Mitsuru Adachi. Sugita is referring to a famously emotionally-charged scene in which the protagonist is sitting next to the hospital bed his recently deceased younger twin brother is lying in, commenting on how picture perfect he looks, despite having passed on.) Shoot 'em up games aren't supposed to look this good! There are investigation sections, there are shooting sections. What's going on? Why don't you tell me? That's what I want to ask Allan Poe. But, in all seriousness, I'm very hyped for this game. I love shoot 'em ups even though I'm terrible at them. I hope the genre never dies. Oh, and I'm dying to find out just how the investigation sections are linked with the shoot 'em up sections! I tell you, shoot 'em up games aren't supposed to look this good… To everyone planning on playing Yurukill: here are some random "facts". There may even be a chance that something I've said turns out to be true! I'll leave you guys to try and sort the facts from the mumbo jumbo. Okay, here goes. Yu Kobayashi appears as a live action villain in the game. (That sounds kind of believable actually...) All the bullet sounds are her voice, too. Anyway, this game is a fusion of adventure and shoot 'em up, in fact, I've heard it described as a "Zunō Senkan Garu" for the modern generation. (Translator's note: Zunō Senkan Garu was a Japanese top down shoot 'em up released in 1985.) I hear it has RPG elements, too. Oh boy, I'm so excited... What else can I say? Ah, forget it. You'll see what the hype is all about once you play it!"
