"I play Raita Yamada, Futa's younger twin brother. Compared to his full-on, intense brother, Raita is more reserved and delicate. I really hope players enjoy finding out the predicament the twins are in, and what lurks in their past. The fact that they're twins is also pretty key. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys their time with the game. I get the feeling players will need to give themselves a little pep talk before the game, otherwise I think it might be a pretty intense experience, mentally. So yeah, my advice is to be prepared for that and then get stuck in. I can't say anything right now, but you better play the game, and make sure you play it all the way through! I'm counting on you!"

Futa is the eldest of twins found guilty of a robbery-murder case. He may seem blunt and prone to violence, but he also has a kind, caring side. Before starting high school, he was sent to a youth detention center after a violent outburst. Since then he has been estranged from his younger brother. He insists he is innocent and intends to win the Yurukill Games along with his twin.

"Futa Yamada is the eldest of two twins. I'm not a twin, so I had to try and envisage his mindset as I was playing him. I guess I came away feeling like being a twin must be pretty cool. The Yamada brothers are caught up in a fairly crazy episode, so I'd love for players to get to the bottom of it. There's a closeness to their relationship that comes from them being twins—it's pretty special, I think! Futa's this real cool, but equally hot-headed character, so there's a real gap between those two traits, and I think that's something players will appreciate. Overall, I had a lot of fun playing Futa! To all the Yurukill players out there... Sometimes in life, we find ourselves falsely accused of something we didn't do. When I was in elementary school, I once picked up a recorder off the floor, only for a girl in my class to accuse me of trying to steal it. I told her she'd got it all wrong... anyway, Yurukill is like that, but dialed up to 11—with the characters trying to clear their names. The story's twists and turns will definitely have you on the edge of your seats, so by all means, please dive in. I mean, I'm also looking forward to playing!"

Yurukill: The Calumniation Games Original Soundtrack album is out today, July 15. The soundtrack album is now available on a variety of music streaming platforms and subscription services, including Apple Music and Spotify. The complete soundtrack features the game's main theme, "Black Innocence", sung by Saori Hayami in character as Rina Azami; and the ending theme, "Onore ni Hanamuke" (A Parting Gift)", sung by Akari Kito in character as Izane Akegarasu. Yurukill is based on an original story by Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler author, Homura Kawamoto and features a scenario by Hikaru Muno. The game’s shoot ‘em up sections were developed by G.rev.
