We are pleased to announce that applications for the game creation contest "2025 Winter Creators Grand Prix -Making the Future of Games Together-" will open on Friday, December 26, 2025, with a total prize value of 1,000,000 Yen.
This contest is a future game development event open to everyone, from elementary school students to adults around the world.
Individuals, groups, and organizations of all kinds are welcome to participate.
Entries will be accepted in both the "Open Division" and the "Themed Division" categories. The grand prize winning creation is scheduled to be released on multiple platforms including the Nintendo Switch.

Upload the created world
Set the Public Setting "Search Tag" to "WinterCG25".
Set the world's visibility to Public.

For top winning entries such as the Grand Prize, the creator's comments are scheduled to be published on the official website.
In such cases, we will contact you at the email address registered in the Teravit game or on the Creators site, so please make sure your email address is registered in advance.

[h3]■ What is a Climbing Action Game?[/h3]
This game genre, often referred to as a "high difficulty climbing action", involves steadily climbing step by step toward a goal set at a high altitude.
Representative titles include "Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy", "Jump King", and "Only Up!". The defining feature of this genre is the extreme tension it creates and even a small mistake can cause you to fall, resetting all the progress you've painstakingly made.

In conjunction with this contest, we have prepared a template world in Teravit that allows you to start creating a climbing action game right away.
Simply go to the "Create" menu, select "New World", and choose "Create from the 'WinterCG2025' Theme Template" to easily create a game based on the template.
